I have SO SO MUCH TO SAY @.@ okay, first, I am SO thankful to "I'm fangirling" for showing my story on hers. I really did cry when I saw how people reacted TT.TT I'm so thankful I cant even explain.. Her story is called "Pitch kidnaps Jack," look it up, okay ^o^
Anyways, sorry for the horribly late update *usually updates once a day or so*, I was on a trip _ _'' but I'm back now and thought out my story a bit further, plus a sequel whether you want it or not o.o like i said, this story is gonna be loooooooong. ^^' so be prepared to not understand some things for a while. It'll all be explained by the end. Till then.. well.. what do you think? I'd love constructive critecism (however you spell that >.>) or reviews or what you think will happen or anythings really ._. It makes me so happy ^^ Okay >:s writing time. I might be a little off for a bit, haven't typed anything in a few days and i halfway lost the feel of the story. Without further random nobodycares admin talk, here we go ^^ again, thank you for reading!
PS: with wattpad its hard for me to see who commented, so if you want a reply or for me to see it, it would be best for you to post at the begginging chapter, "believe in me". That way I can go to that one chapter, see all the reviews, and be able to get back to you more quickly.
Jack awoke with a start. It was more in surprise mentally, his brain sparking him up with the realization that he hadn't had a single nightmare the entire night. He hadn't dreamed either, the gloden dust of his close friend wouldnt reach him here. But having horrible, jerking nightmares for so long made it so that anything else was... unusual. He got a feeling in his stomach, was he safe? It almost made him want to laugh. If the nightmares had avoided him then maybe they had stayed away from Ilia's mind too. The rememberance of Death being there by them while they were asleep then came back.. was it him? He was the only thing that had really changed. After seeing him so hurt, it was surprising to not have nightmares about it... was Pitch realizing what he was doing? Pitying? Don't assume... look around, Jack. He wasn't going to let his concious ruin his mood.. until he did look around. For one, Grey was moved far away, much much further than he was before. But what Jack took more note of was that the small blonde that had nested at his side wasn't there anymore. The place on the tile where she was wasn't even warm. She cant walk, Jack thought, her ankle is too messed up.. and she wouldn't just crawl away through the darkness of Pitch's lair would she? Jack didn't know her as well as he felt he did.. maybe she would. But it didn't seem right, not at all. The winter spirit rose to his knees. "You can do it Jack," he mouthed determinedly, the voice not actually leaving his lips. "You did it before, you can do it again." Either the voice in his mind decided to be nice and not retort something negative as almost always or the Man in the Moon really was watching down on him even in this dark place, because as the boy kept chanting to himself in the silence of the room, his shaky ankle held up more and more. Almost... he thought, too nervous to get his hopes up in fear of them being let down. Finally, he was up, standing straight for the first time in.. how long had it been? Through the darkness and fear, the pain and hopelessness, he couldn't really recall what day it was, how many days, weeks even, he might've been here. But still it didn't matter, if he could stand, then it couldn't be THAT hard to walk right? And if he could walk, then there was a chance he could help the other two spirits along as well. It was a weak chance.. but a much better one than before. "Now to find Ilia.." he whispered, his mischivious smirk returning. This would end, it would be alright. Pitch had messed up, putting the three of them together. Jack already felt a small connection with the two mysterious others he had met just a short time before. He had friends. Even if the other guardians couldn't come to help him, he would go to them. He missed them.. Sandy, Tooth, North, Bunny.. and his smile grew a little halfhearted as he wondered if they missed him too. Pitch is just messing with you. If they're not coming, then its for a good reason. "You're right." The winter spirit's smile returned as his determination kept the weakened bones in his shaky leg from collapsing, holding them in place better than any cast could. Ilia had to be somewhere in the lair, right? And he would find her.
