I should probably say this now.. I'm sort of writing to calm down, which means I'm gonna write more about what I'd like. I'm really sorry that it seems like the OC's are more important than Jack and the others but they're a way for me to break loose. Hopefully my stories are still enjoyable and i'll still try to add in as much Jack as I can.

Jack sat against the window at the pole, the large glass illuminating the room with a white, sunless light from the  cloud-covered arctic skies. He wasn't sure what to feel.. mad? No, he should've seen this coming. Despite how upset he felt himself getting at seeing Ilia's tears and Grey just vanishing anyways, he couldn't be angry at anyone but himself for not finding a way to stop it, for just ignoring it. Ilia had ran off to who knew where, and despite how much he didnt ever seem to want her there, Bunny happened to be the first to volenteer to go look for her. He claimed that he 'didn't want her messing anything up around the place' but it was pretty obvious he was worried for the small girl. Grey was her hero.. and just left her. Jack saw it from both perspectives, he knew Grey wasn't really to blame. His mind was clouded with all the darkness that wasn't even really there, he must've thought he was doing right but.. the winter spirit gave a quiet sigh, bright turquoise eyes finding themselves wandering to the window to stare out at the beautifully light atmosphere behind the glass. He thought back to what Ilia and Death were arguing about before he left. Ilia had yelled 'Chaos will take over you, no!" but what did that mean? The monster? He didnt want to be reminded.. the nightmare horses of Pitch's were frightening enough, though the winter spirit was brave enough by heart and curiosity of his own to fight them anyways. He wasn't really scared of much of anything, he didnt have any reason to be. But the beast that had appeared in his dream, somehow making the slash across his cheek into reality.. it was too confusing and nerving to really think on, no matter what Jack couldn't wrap his head around how that was possible. Calm Ilia down then ask her. She knows more than anyone else does about him, if you can get her to tell you then maybe you can stop another problem from coming up. His mind was right.. but getting Ilia to talk in the mood he had last seen her in didn't seem likely. He was worried about her for sure.. if what the guardians had spoke of before, she had been a troublemaker like he was when he had been lost and alone. Or did she even leave the pole? She would probably freeze in the arctic on her own.. it sparked up worry into the already downed glance of the spirit of winter but he shook his head. Ilia wasn't stupid and the pole was huge. Still.. he had to check. Jack stood from his seat for the first time in what felt like hours, stretching his numbing legs before running down the hallway yet again, dashing along through the yetis that blocked the entire corridor at times while giving halfhearted yells of "sorry!" behind him. He was almost out the door when Tooth flew up beside him, her head slightly tilting. North had demanded as kindly as he could for her to start sleeping more and even told her fairies on his own that the job of collecting the teeth for the next few days was in their hands. As far as Jack knew, baby tooth was in charge, but he hadn't heard much on it. It was obvious to everyone that the fairy was overworking herself though, but she seemed to be getting better physically, trying to house a smile despite the cercumstances. "Bunny's still looking for Ilia. He's been trying to spread out bunnies around the pole to draw her in, said she seemed to like things like that but.." Jack nodded, not needing her to finish. He knew Tooth had grown close to both of the stranger spirits while helping the most with taking care of them, talking to them kindly while all the other guardians were either arguing or stopping arguments with each other. She had always given Ilia the look of a mother to a child, that smile of caring that Tooth's kind heart would never forget how to possess. It was comforting for everyone watching.. but now that Ilia had ran away and Grey had rejoined Pitch, Tooth was one of the more affected of the group of five. They had all decided to start taking care of and being nicer to spirits and the two they had been trying enough to help both left for the worse. "Do you think Ilia would've left the pole?" Jack asked, hoping that Tooth would find some logical reason that he had looked past. Instead though, purple eyes grew wide with surprise. "I never even thought about that..! Jack, she'll freeze out there!"
