You and Emile have been best friends for years, you do everything together, whether it's going out for the night or going on holidays. You were rarely apart.
Tonight you both went for a night out together, you always have fun together, no one really compares to you two.
The night consisted of lots of vodka, and lots of singing. Before eventually coming to an end.
As normal you went back to Emiles to stay the night, both fucked out of your heads you managed to get home.
"I'll get you some water" you said heading to the kitchen, Emile followed
"Here" you placed it on the island whilst taking a sip of your own
"Ahhh thanks y/n, your too good to me" he said taking a sip
"I gave you water not brought you a car"
You laughed which set Emile off and you ended up in a giggling fit for about 10 minutes.
Eventually you both decided to go to bed. As you walked through to go up the stairs Emile stopped you
"Y/n" he said walking over "gimmie hug"
You put your arms around his neck
"I always have the best time with you" he mumbled into your neck
"Me too" you said back
"Nah I mean it, your the best person in my life, I adore you" he said
You pulled away to look at him, "your so cute" you laughed
"I'm not joking though y/n" he said "I genuinely adore you so much"
You smiled "come on let's go to bed" you said pulling him up the stairs
You did your night routine and got into bed, if you stayed round you always shared with Emile so this was nothing new.
"I don't think your understanding me" Emile said
"What now"
You laughed looking over at him
"Words can't even describe the amount I adore you" he said
"Well I adore you too ems your my best friend" you said
"Yeah but like I adore you more" he said
You laughed "that doesn't even make sense ems"
"I'm being serious y/n"
He said
"I adore you, I love you" he said
"Aw love you too" you said smiling
"No like I love love you" he said
"Emile go to sleep your drunk"
You said
"Yeah well so are you" he said
You sighed
"Let me kiss you just once" he said
You looked at him, "I'll only allow this cos we won't remember tomorrow"
That was the green light for Emile and he lent forward leaving a kiss on your lips
"See there's something there I know it" he said
"You are so drunk come on go to sleep" you said
"Alright night" he said "I love you"
"Love you too"
You said without even realising
When you woke your head was pounding. Emile was half asleep next to you.
"Ah" you said holding your head and laying back down
"Jesus I can't even open my eyes" Emile said from next to you
You let out a small laugh cos it was quite funny the state you was both in.
"Morning" he said turning to face you
"Morning" you smiled at him
"I don't remember a lot from yesterday do you?" He asked
"Not really I remember coming back and we had a weird conversation I think" you laughed
"Typical" he said laughing "did I kiss someone yesterday I remember kissing someone"
"I don't think so... oh" you said, suddenly the events of last night came back to you
"Oh my god" you said
"What" he asked
"We kissed yesterday"
You said
"No we didn't" Emile laughed before his face dropped "oh yeah"
"I remember it all, we came back and you was saying you adore me" you said
"Oh god" he said
"I remember" he said "and then I said I love you and told you to kiss me"
You laughed as it all came back to you both,
"you said I love you too" he said
"Did I?" You asked
"Yeah I said it before we went to sleep and you was like love you too" he said
"Oh" you said a bit embarrassed
"I don't really know what come over us yesterday" you said
"Neither" Emile said
You both looked at each other in the eye
"Drunk words, sober thoughts?" He questioned
