Martin Ødegaard- love you forever

You met Martin whilst he was on loan at arsenal in January 2021, you grew up being friends with bukayo and Emile so you was always around the arsenal boys. As soon as you met Martin you both instantly liked each other, he was at arsenal for 6 months, and in them 6 months I don't think there was a day you didn't spend together. But of course it was going to come to an end eventually.

It was Martin's idea at first to end things, you wanted to try and make it work but just agreed with him, as it was going to be difficult with him being in Madrid and you in London.

You didn't speak to him from that day, you unfollowed him on all social media, and got the arsenal boys to swear they won't speak about him to you for a while as you was truly heartbroken.

A month later, it was the 20th of august, your birthday. You was getting ready to meet Emz and Bukayo for a birthday breakfast when there was a knock at your door.

"Happy birthday!" The familiar voice said. It was Martin, standing there in a full arsenal kit with a bunch of flowers in his hand.

Your face was shocked as you really didn't expect to see him again, not just yet anyways.

You let him in and he placed the flowers on the side.

"What are you in London for? And in an arsenal shirt?" You asked

"You didn't know?" He questioned

"Know what?" You said back

"I've signed for arsenal, long term, I just got done with press and stuff so wanted to come and see you. Did the boys not tell you then?" He said

"Have you really!?" You smiled at him

"Yeah" he laughed

"Congratulations that's amazing!!" You said going to give him a hug

"I didn't know because I kinda asked the boys not to talk about us or you cause I was still a bit upset" you said walking back over to the flowers and arranging them in a vase.

"Oh okay I see" he said "well I'm here for a long while now" he smiled

"How have you been?" He asked

You nodded "yeah good, you?"

"Yeah I'm happy to be back, really felt at home last time so it's nice to have that again" he smiled and you smiled back

"And of course I couldn't not come and see the birthday girl today" he laughed poking your side making you giggle

You turned to look at him "I can't believe your here to be honest"

He nodded, "look I didn't wanna talk about it today cause it's a special day for you and I don't want to ruin it"

"But am i too late? Is the possibility of us being together no longer there?" He asked sincerely

You gave a small smile "it's not too late no, but I do wish you didn't give up on us so easily before"

"I know and I regret that, a whole month without you wasn't enjoyable, it made me realise a lot of things and one of them is that I truly love you" he said

You smiled

He walked a bit closer and placed his hand on the side of your face. So if I'm really not too late, and your feelings for me are still there, could we maybe try this again?" He smiled

You placed a small peck on his lips and wrapped your arms round his neck. "Of course we can" you smiled

"Thank god, I really thought you would have lost your feelings for me by now" he said

You looked at him "I think I'll love you forever, Martin odegaard"

He smiled "you love me?"

You nodded in response and he kissed you once again.

Best birthday present you could ever wish for.
