ESR- late night chats

You was laying in bed next to Emile, it was about 1am and you were drifting off to sleep.

"Y/n" Emiles voice said

"Yeah" you replied

"Are you awake" he asked

"No I'm asleep and can't hear you" you laughed

"Very funny" he said "come here"

You turned to look at him and he had his arms open for a cuddle.

"What's up" you asked

"Nothing just wanted to cuddle so I can go to sleep" he said

You made yourself comfy and gave him a peck on the lips.

"Love you night" you said

"No don't go to sleep yet" he said

"Why" you whined

"Cos I wanna chat" he said

"About what" you asked looking up at him

"I don't know I just feel like we haven't been able to just sit and chat in ages" he said

Which is true, he's been busy with football and you have been busy with your work, so usually
when your together your to tired to do anything other then sleep and cuddle.

"Okay" you smiled

He smiled back "I love you, you know" he said

"Well I should hope so" you laughed

He laughed a little "I'm being serious though"

"I love you too Emile" you said

"I do worry sometimes that with our busy schedules it's gonna pull us apart" he said

"Why's that? We are together quite a lot still" you said

"I know but it's not quality time together, we are always to tired" he said

"Ems remember that now is just a busy few weeks for you because it's coming up to the end of the season, We have the summer together soon as well remember" you said quietly trying to reassure him.

Emile can get overwhelmed and overthink every little thing sometimes, and you need to be there to reassure him that it's fine.

He nodded

"Even if we were the busiest people on planet earth I would still make sure our relationship worked" you said to him

"Me too" he smiled

There was silence for a few minutes as you just enjoyed each other's company.

"Can I ask you a question" you said

"Of course" he replied

"Do you ever think about our future? Like you know when we settle down and have kids and get married" you asked

"Bloody hell" he said "all the fucking time" he laughed

"You scared me then I thought you was gonna say bloody hell no" you laughed

"Sorry" he laughed "it's all I think about, every time I look at you I see my future, whatever happens I just know you'll be in it"

"Awww ems" you said smiling at him

"Do you think about it" he asked

"Constantly, I dream about it sometimes" you laughed

"Good" he said all cockily

"What do you think about" you asked him

"Well I always see us in this house, I know it was our first home but I think everything is how we want it and we designed it how we wanted, we made it our forever home. And I imagine having mini us running around, I can't decide if I want a big or small family, depends how many you wanna pop out" he laughed as did you.

"And I may have a few ideas up my sleeve for proposals" he said

"Ohhh really" you asked

He nodded "now your turn"

"Yeah this is our forever home for sure, I already know what rooms will be for our kids one day and how I want to decorate them" you smiled and Emile laughed

"And I want the proposal to be completely up to you but I have ideas for our wedding, and I'll maybe pop out a couple kids but we will see" you laughed

"I can't believe we've never spoke about this before" he said

"I know" you sighed "but we have now and it was nice"

"I can't wait for our future honestly" he said

"Me too it's gonna be the best" you said smiling

"Now come on you have training in the morning you gotta get some sleep" you said stroking his face

"But I wanna talk to you all night" he said

"We can tomorrow night" you said

"Fine" he said

You gave him a kiss and cuddled up to him

"I love you" you said

"I love you more my girl" he said kissing your head
