Marcus Rashford- not funny

One thing you loved doing was winding your boyfriend Marcus up.

Currently it's international break but Marcus didn't go due to still recovering from an injury.

It was englands game against Andorra and you promised to watch it with him, you always joked to Marcus about having a little crush on his team mate jack grealish.. I mean who doesn't!! And growing up an Aston Villa fan you always liked jack. Obviously you don't have a crush on him in a way that you would leave your boyfriend for him (which Marcus likes to think is the case) but more you just respect that he's a good looking guy and you've always enjoyed watching him play and grow into his career especially when he was at villa. Now it makes you laugh as you and Jack are quite good friends from meeting through Marcus.

"Babe" Marcus shouted from down stairs "it's started"

You went running down the stairs to join him
"Is jack playing" you said whilst sitting next to him

"Yes" he said rolling his eyes

You laughed and thought about other ways to wind him up during this game

You stayed silent for a bit watching the screen intensively

"God your getting into it" Marcus laughed

"Yeah well it's hard not to when someone like that is on your screen" you smirked at him but carried on acting normal and cuddled up to him putting your head in his chest

He reluctantly put an arm around your waist which made you giggle knowing it was because he was getting annoyed

The screen went to a slo mo of jack kicking the ball as he made an assist

"Jeeezzz" you said in a funny tone of voice

"Excuse me" Marcus said moving back so you was sitting up and looking at him

"What?" You said smiling

"Did you just say jeez and basically dribble over jack" he asked

"No"

"Well yes you did I heard you"

The whistle blew for half time and you went it make a drink

"Do you want a drink babe" you asked getting up off the sofa

"No" he mumbled back

Shortly after the game began again, you made a few more little noises or faces whenever it panned to jack. And Marcus would look at you every time he came on screen. You knew how much this was annoying him but you found it so funny.

It went to a shot of Jack lifting his shirt to wipe the sweat off his forehead

"Oh my go-" you couldn't finish the sentence because the tv was a abruptly turned off and a mad looking Marcus was in front of you.

"Babe why you turning it off" you whined putting your tea in the coffee table

"Why are you thirsting over jack" he asked looking down at you

You laughed

"It's not funny" he said

"Sorry" you replied still trying not to laugh

"Look if you would rather have him then go for it I know he's a good looking guy an that but I personally don't see why you would want him over me but go for it by all means" Marcus said quite seriously

You laughed again

"Baby" you said standing up so you could hold his hands
"I was messing with you" you laughed again

"What do you mean" he asked

"Well when I first asked if Jack was playing I was genuinely just wondering and then you got so annoyed I wanted to see how far you would go before turning it off" you said still laughing a bit

"Not funny" he said again

"It was a joke I promise" you smile and put your arms round his neck

"Yeah well it's wasnt a very funny joke" he put his arms round your waist "but I'm better then jack anyways so"

"Obviously you are 10000x better" you smiled at him

"Love you" he said

"Love you too"
