Xiao x Aether one shots

Go to sleep

It's just Xiao comforting Aether from his nightmare

"Xiao? I know it's my fault that you are in this state."-A

"Stop blaming yourself Aether, you had nothing to do with my fate. All you did was come late to my rescue. There is no need for you to put more pressure on yourself."-X

Aether still felt guilt. It wasn't everyday that you find your husband on the floor with his head and arm bleeding out. All he could think about was how did that even happen? And why wasn't he fast enough to save him?

"Come, sleep with me. You seem tired."-X

Aether walked over to Xiao's hospital bed and leaned down to kissed Xiao's forehead. The raven replied with a soft gentle kiss on his cheek. The blond took off his shoes, and climbed into the bed. There would be their resting place for tonight.

"Sweet dreams, my darling."-X

"Sweet dreams, my raven."-A

Aether woke up gasping for air. It was another nightmare, about his sister. She had been missing for almost 3 years, and that created more stress than ever.

The blond was still gasping for the same air when the raven started stroking his hair and humming a lullaby. Aether soon calmed down and embraced his lover tightly. He cried into the other's shoulder and the raven responded with another gentle kiss on the cheek.

"Lumine. She-"-A

"She left you, I know Aether. But you have to let her go. It's for the best of your health."-X

"No, I can't. I had her by my side all my life. Why would I give up now?"-A

Xiao experienced stuff like this before. When Lumine first went missing, Aether went crazy for the police to find her. It's been almost 3 years since that day of emotional purge. But Xiao was there to comfort the blond in his times of need. And he needed a lot of them, he still had college to get through.

"Listen Aether, it's been almost three years. She might've went missing on purpose. Why do you still hold on to her and her foolishness?"-X

"I love her. And she loves me right? She does."-A

"Aether, she hurts you because she knows she can get away with it. Lumine literally smashed you into a wall on your 19th birthday. You had blood oozing out of you"-X

"I wanna go back to sleep. I don't want to think about blood for now."-A

Aether laid down near Xiao and tried to go to sleep. Xiao sang him the same song he sang earlier and stroked his hair in comfort. The raven kissed his lover on his forehead and wished him a good rest

Aight bye I have tutoring in two hours. And my sister volunteered for us to have a busy day wow.
