"Gah! Why doesnt it look good on me anymore?!"-A
Aether was getting ready for his lover to come home and he wanted to suprise him with an outfit he got when went shopping with his sister a month ago. His lover, Xiao, hadnt see the outfit yet, nor knew it was there in his closet. The blond had a black bow clip in his hair, a dark blue t shirt with some flower designs on the upper right, and some sweatpants with the same flower pattern. His hair was in a ponytail instead of his ususal singal braid.
The two were suppose to see the lantens together in the park, and he felt like everyone was going to stare at him with the outfit on. He started to panic as he looked more in the mirror and felt like he was in high school again. Where everyone judged him for his looks and personality.
these are personally from my own expriences. And im not in high school yet.
"He's too cheery for a boy. He needs to learn to bE a mAn!" Some annoying "popular girl"
" He's too girly."- that one friend
"That boy does not belong with Xiao, he doesnt need girly boys like him"- ugly fangirl simp
The blond started crying while pulling his hair in a ball position. He couldnt relive those 3 years of torture and stress. That would simply be too much! And then the pressure to be perfect with everyone watching and make friends and have good grades to impress his parents and-
"Love?"-X
His lover had come home, and he didnt hear him at all. The blond thought he was showing bad mannerism for not knowing he was home and turned away from his lover in guilt, still crying, but softly. The raven was confused on why he did that and hugged him from behind.
"Your not mad that I showed bad mannerism to you?"-A
"Its not bad mannerism when your crying. And why would I be mad if you didnt show up to the door to greet me?"-X
"I-It was nothing, just a rule I grew up with."-A
They stayed in silence while Xiao was conforting his lover by stroking his hair.
" Ya know, your really pretty with that outfit darling, is it from when you went shopping with Lumine?"-X
" *sniff* it is, but I dont want to go looking like this. I fear that people will stare and point and laugh and-"-A
The raven shushed him, for speaking the non truth.
"Listen Aether. Your already beatiful as yourself. Remeber those wonderful flowers you took a picture of when you went on that photography trip to Inazuma? How they werent like the others that faded in the night, but those ones stood out? I perfer you see yourself as those flowers."-X

The blond started crying hard in the raven's shoulder. He loved his lover, just as his lover loved him back. The raven smiled softly as he comforted his lover once more.
"Thank y-you Xiao, I feel much better now."-A
He reposned with a peck on the blond's cheek.
"You still want to see those lanterns love? Or you just want to stay here and cuddle?"-X
