Normani/You: Cheating (Pt 2)

I got to Dinah's house and I opened the door with the key she gave me.

"What the hell?" she said getting off the couch quickly.

"It's just me, Dinah." I said chuckling.

"Girl, I almost shot yo ass!" she said with a sigh. "What's wrong?" she asked.

"Damn, how'd you know something was wrong?" I asked.

"I'm your best friend. I know when somethings going on." she said rolling her eyes. "So, what's wrong?"

"Normani accused me of cheating on her."I told her.

"That's it?" she asked with a confused look.

"And she kind of called me a hoe." I added.

"Are you serious? DID you cheat on her?" She asked. "You know what?Never mind. I know you're too whipped to even look at another person like that." she teased me.

I shot her a playful glare and then rolled my eyes, "Tell that to your girl, Normani."

"Y/n, you know Mani has trust issues, though that doesn't justify this. I don't think she meant it, honestly. You need to talk to her about it." she told me.

"I know I do and I'm planning on it, but I couldn't stay. You know how I get when I'm angry." I said.

She nodded, "I know why you left and I'm proud of you. Old y/n would've mollywhopped that ass." Dinah said with a chuckle. She wasn't lying. It took a lot of restraint, but I would've never forgiven myself if I would have hit her.

"Let's just hang out tonight then!" she said and she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the couch. I sat on the couch and looked at the tv quietly with a blank expression on my face.

Dinah looked at over at me and laughed lightly. She put her arm around my head and pulled me down so my head was resting in her lap and she played with my hair.

"Everything's going to be okay, boo. My ship ain't sinking yet." She cooed. I chuckled and nodded. She continued playing with my hair and I closed my eyes.

"Are you going to sleep? We supposed to be hangin out! Where's the loyalty?" she joked. "I'm kidding. Go to sleep, sweetheart. You've got a long day ahead of you tomorrow." she said as she ran her fingers through my hair.

"Thanks a lot, Dinah. I love you." I told her

"I love you too. Now go to sleep, girl!" and with that I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I woke up to hear Mani and Dinah whispering.

"Normani, you know you really hurt her when you accused her of cheating. You know damn well she'd never even think of cheating on you!" Dinah whispered yelled.

"I know! I don't know what I was thinking. I screwed up so badly. I was just angry and I said some things I surely didn't mean. I love her so much, Dinah and I can't live without her. I hope she can forgive me. " Normani whispered back.

I shifted and the couch made noise.

"I think she's awake. Now's your chance to talk to her about it." Dinah said. Normani sighed and I heard her get up. I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep.

"y/n? I know you're awake." she said sitting down next to me. "I want you to know that I'm so sorry, baby. I really am! You're everything to me. Please don't leave me." she begged. I looked her in the eyes and smiled.

"I forgive you, but you know I'll never cheat on you right? It's not necessary because I have the best girlfriend in the world and she makes me happier than anything on earth." I smiled widely.

Normani giggled, "I love you so very much!" she said as she pecked my lips.

"I love you more than anything." I replied and I laid my head in her lap as she began stroking my hair.
