"I'm about to whoop yo ass in laser tag." Camila told me, trying to act like a thug.

I chuckled and raised an eyebrow, "Are you now?"

She nodded, "You already know what it is!"

I laughed loudly this time and just nodded. We walked into the room with the vests and guns and each grabbed one before putting it on.

"You can go into the arena as soon as you're done." a teenaged boy said, his voice cracking slightly. Camila and I chuckled lightly and walked into the arena.

"Kiss for good luck?" I asked as we were about to part ways, puckering my lips. She rolled her eyes playfully and gave me a quick kiss.

"Only because you're going to need all the help you can get." she said, smirking at me before running off to hide.

I chuckled and shook my head before finding a place to hide.

"The game will begin in 3...2...1," a robotic voice said from speakers hanging from the ceiling.

I quickly sprung into action, my nonexistent FBI training taking over. I jogged around the arena shooting little kids and grown men, making sure to do a victory dance in their faces.

I found Camila a few minutes into the game, her back turned towards me. I snuck up behind her, "Hey babe." I cooed. She quickly spun around and I shot her just as her eyes met mine, a smug grin on my face.

She glared at me as I smirked at her, "You look really sexy right now." I husked, wrapping my arms around her neck. She knew I was trying to distract me but she didn't care, so she wrapped her arms around my waist.

She captured my lips in a passionate kiss and didn't hesitate to slip her tongue into my mouth to explore. I heard the sound of the laser guns around us and I knew we were getting shot but it didn't matter to me.

"Ew! You're like 40, you shouldn't be kissing!" a 12 year old kid said coming up to us. Camila and I laughed, breaking our kiss.

"We're only 24, punk. Beat it." I said shooting his vest. He glared at me before running off. Camila and I laughed again, uncontrollably this time. By the time we got ourselves together, the game was over and we had to go hang our stuff back up.

I wrapped my arm around Camila's shoulder and she wrapped her arm around my waist as she leaned into me. We stood outside the door and looked at the screen above our heads. I pointed out that I beat Camila in laser tag and she pouted, "Whatever. You cheated, anyways." she said, her bottom lip poking out.

"What?! How did I cheat?" I asked laughing.

"You tried to seduce me." she said gloomily.

I acted like I was hurt by the accusation at first but my face quickly changed into a sly grin, "Did it work?" I asked smirking.

She rolled her eyes and walked away, "Can't you tell by the score?" she called over her shoulder. I giggled before jogging to catch up with her. She intertwined our fingers and we walked out of the building and got into my car. We were halfway to her house when she broke the comfortable silence, "Can you, um, not tell people you beat me? I don't want this to ruin my street rep." she said.

I laughed loudly, taking my eyes off of the road for a quick second to look at her, "Anything for you, babe." I replied smiling. She squeezed my hand that she was holding, gently and then placed a kiss on my knuckles.

"I love you, y/n." she said softly.

"I love you too." I said, giving her a warm smile.

She looked out the window and got quiet. It was dark out and you could see the stars clearly. It was perfect outside.

"Let's go play in the sprinklers." Camila said, looking out the window.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Seriously?" I asked, curiously. She nodded and looked at me. I opened my mouth to protest before sighing and pulling into the parking lot of some business. "I can't believe I'm doing this." I said, chuckling. "It's almost 2am."

She shrugged and got out of the car flashing me a bright smile. I got out and met her on her side of the car.

"Ready?" she asked grabbing my hand and smiling at me. I nodded and she took off running, pulling me behind her.

We ran into the water, laughing loudly. We danced and sang, our bodies soaked from the water. I wrapped my arms around Camila as we stood in the field of sprinklers.

She looked up at me, her hair sticking to her face and water falling down her face. She had the biggest smile on her face and she looked at me with a look of pure love and adoration.

"Marry me." I said, like it was no big deal. "I love you more than anything and I can't see myself living without you, so marry me."

Her eye widened but her smile didn't falter, "I-I would love to." she said after a while, jumping on me and giving me a koala hug. She leaned back slightly and connected our lips in a short but sweet kiss.

A breeze came through and made us both shiver, reminding us we were outside in the sprinklers.

I took off running back to the car, Camila clinging onto me, both of us laughing heartily at nothing in particular. I put her down on her feet and we both got in the car. After starting the car, I turned the heat on, my teeth chattering and my body shaking.

"I-I-I-it's so c-c-cold." Camila said shivering as well.

"Maybe w-we should take off our wet c-clothes and get close." I suggested.

Camila looked at me and smirked.

"Get your m-mind out of the gutter." I said laughing. We peeled our wet clothes off and laid them out in the trunk to dry. Camila crawled over the arm rest and sat in my lap. Her body was as close as possible and I immediately felt the warmth returning to my body.

"I have something for you." I shifted and grabbed a small jewelry box out of my glove compartment.

She took it and opened it, her eyes gleaming. It was an engagement ring. "I had had it in my car for months, waiting for the perfect moment to propose. I wanted it to be perfect, more like the cliche proposals that you see on movies, but I got caught up." I admitted, shyly.

She slipped the ring on her finger and looked at it with a smile on her face. She looked back at me, "This was perfect. You're perfect." she said, before kissing me again.
