I was walking hand in hand with my girlfriend, Hayden, when I heard a familiar voice call my name. I stopped walking and looked around.

"Did you hear someone call my name?" I asked Hayden and she nodded.

I kept looking around before my eyes landed on the familiar short brunette. My eyes widened and my breath hitched in my throat. My heart began to race and I had butterflies in my stomach.

"What's wrong, baby?" Hayden asked in a worried tone.

I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out.

"Ally?" I asked tilting my head. Hayden looked in the direction I was looking and she sighed.

"Is that your ex?" she asked and I nodded. Hayden was quiet for a while. "Are you still in love with her?" she asked carefully. I shook my head.

"No, of course not. I love you." I said trying to convince myself rather than Hayden. By this time, Ally was getting closer. A huge smile invaded her face and I smiled at her. She looked absolutely beautiful and I couldn't take my eyes off her.

Ally finally reached us and I squeezed Hayden's hand for reassurance. She squeeze my hand back and I looked at her. She gave me a reassuring smile and I quickly kissed her.

"Hey, y/n." Ally said with a fake smile after apparently seeing our kiss. She looked to Hayden. "I'm Ally." She said extending a hand towards Hayden for her to shake.

Hayden shook her hand, "I'm Hayden, nice to meet you." she said smiling.

Ally turned her attention back to me, "So, how have you been?" she asked.

"I've been good. How about you?" I asked politely.

"I've been great, actually." she said with a big smile.

"How was the tour?" I asked.

"It was...a great experience but it was bittersweet." she confessed. I nodded, understanding what she meant.

Ally and I broke up because of the tour. I came forward with the break up but it was mutual in the end. There was still a lot of tears shed and standing there I was pretty sure I was still in love with her and I hadn't gotten over it.

"That's good. I'm glad you got to experience that." I smiled at her. Hayden cleared her throat.

"I need to get to my photo shoot, so I need to get going. I'll catch a taxi. I love you, babe." she said with a sad smile.

"I love you too, baby." I kissed her and watched as she walked away.

I turned my attention back to Ally.

"Y/n, do you have a minute? Can we talk?" she asked shyly.

"Yeah, of course. What's up, Ally?" I asked.

"Let's take a walk." she suggested and we began walking. "So, y/n, I know you're happy with...Hayden," she paused and took a deep breath,"but I can't move on without you knowing this. I feel so bad doing this, I really do but you have to know I love you. I'm in love with you. Losing you...it's the worst thing that's ever happened to me. I'm here, y/n and I'm not leaving any time soon. When I do, though, I want you to be with me. I want to travel with you, I want to be with you, I want to marry you, I want to have kids with you. I want you, y/n. You're all I want and all I need. And if me going on tour is not okay with you just say it and I'm done. I care about you and I'll do anything to have you back. Anything." she said desperately. We stopped walking and I looked her in the eyes.

"Anything?" I asked. She nodded eagerly.

"Then kiss me." I said. She looked at me shocked before crashing her lips into mine. I closed my eyes as butterflies erupted in my stomach. I smiled into the kiss.

"I'm in love with you, Ally." I confessed.

"Hey, y/n," I heard Hayden say behind me. I turned to see her rummaging through her purse. She looked up and saw Ally and I embraced and Ally's lipstick on my lips. "I was coming back to see if you had any money for my taxi but never mind." she said with a sad smile. I could see tears welling in her eyes and my heart broke.

"Hayden..." I said.

She shook her head, "Please, don't." She said before walking off.
