Dinah/You: After Lauren Cheated

"Y/n? Wake up!" Dinah said as she shook me softly.

I slowly opened my eyes to find Dinah's beautiful brown eyes staring into mine. She had a smile on her face and my heart skipped a beat.

"Good morning, beautiful! You look so cute when you first wake up." She kissed me on the forehead and I smiled at her.

"I wouldn't mind waking up like this for the rest of my life." I said truthfully.

She smiled at me and then smirked, "Your morning voice is sexy as hell, but that morning breath is something serious."

I laughed loudly and punched her shoulder lightly, "I hate you."

"I love you too."

"I really do love you though, you thot."

"But I'm your thot." She said, smiling so widely her eyes closed.

I giggled, "This is true! I'm gonna go brush my teeth, so I can kiss you without having morning breath."

"I'll be waiiiiittttiiiinnnnggg!" She called after me while making kissing noises. I just shook my head and laughed before beginning to brush my teeth.

Dinah walked in and wrapped her arms around my waist before placing a kiss on my lips after spinning me around, getting toothpaste on her lips.

"I couldn't wait for you to finish. The kiss was worth it. Toothpaste and all." She said, chuckling.

I quickly finished brushing my teeth while Dinah sat on the counter watching me in silence. I was swishing mouthwash around in my mouth when Dinah broke the silence. "Y/n, we need to talk about us."

I sighed and spit my mouthwash out, "I know, Dinah. Let me finish up in here and we can talk."

She nodded and got quiet again.

"Will you brush my hair?"

She nodded and pulled me closer to her. She began to gently brush my hair with the brush.

"I really do love you, y/n." She said quietly.

"I love you too, Dinah. There's no doubt in my mind about that anymore."

"What about Lauren?"

"Lauren? Who-? Oh. Lauren, Lauren. I haven't really thought about her, honestly."

"You'll need to talk to her eventually. You need that closure thingy. I think that's what it's called." She said, thinking.

I giggled a little. "I'll talk to her, but I just want to enjoy this time with you."

We just sat in silence for a little while.
"You know, Dinah, I think I've always known I loved you, but I tried to ignore it. You're my best friend and I didn't want to ruin our friendship."

"Same here and you seemed happy with Lauren."

"I was. But I'm happier with you." I turned around to smile at her. She smiled back and kissed me.
