Lauren/You: Cheating (Part 2ish)

I stood on Lauren's doorstep contemplating whether to ring the doorbell or not. Finally, I took a deep breath and rang it.

The door opened quickly as if she had been waiting for me. "Y/n, I'm so sorry."

I looked her over and she looked a mess. Her hair was messy, her eyes were red and puffy, and she was even more pale than before. I sighed, "I know you are Lauren. I'm not here to beat you down about it. May I come in?"

She nodded and stepped aside so I could walk in. I sat on the couch and she sat on the chair to the right of me.

It was quiet for a while until she decided to break the silence, "Y/n, I'm so sorry. I promise I didn't want to hurt yo-"

I cut her off, "Look Lauren," I shifted my body so I was facing her, "I'm not here for an apology. I know you're sorry. But, I did, however, want to know some things, if that's okay?"

She nodded, "Shoot."

"Was I not enough for you?"

She shook her head quickly, "It wasn't you. Honestly, you've been nothing but a great girlfriend. And before you ask, yes, I did and still do love you."

"I love you, too, Lauren."

There was an oddly comfortable silence, "Who was it?"

She was quiet for a second. "Camz." She whispered, confirming my suspicions. They had been close way before I was in the picture, kind of like Dinah and I.

"Figured. You love her don't you?"

She nodded, "I do. A lot."

She looked at me in the eyes, "Can I ask you something?"

I nodded.

"Do you love Dinah? Like LOVE her?"

I nodded again and smiled, "I do. A lot."

She smiled back at me.

"That's why I came. I think we should see other people, but I hope we can go back to being good friends one day."

"I would like that." She replied, smiling.

We both stood and hugged each other tightly. We stayed there for a few minutes before pulling away.

"Bye Y/n. I'll see you around."

"Goodbye, Lauren." And with that I walked out the door.
