Lauren POV

I woke up and didn't feel the warmth of y/n. I opened my eyes quickly and looked to find her gone. I looked over to find a note on the nightstand.
"Hello my Sleeping Beauty. My Awake Beauty, also. You're just a beauty all the time ;)"
I laughed and continued reading.
"I've set up a little surprise for you, but here's the catch. Are you ready for it? Im not going to tell you where it is. IT'S A SCAVENGER HUNT, LAUREN! WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE?! Anyways, get dressed and the first clue is somewhere around the house. It's where you first said "I love you". Love y/n" She left a lipstick kiss next to her name. I smiled at the note and put it back on the nightstand. I got ready quickly and then walked out to the living room. I knew immediately where I first said "I love you" at. I was sitting on the couch, with y/n cuddled up next to me. She was a little tipsy, since we had just come back from a party. I thought she was asleep and would be way too drunk to remember, so I said it. She immediately opened her eyes and said it back. I smiled at the memory. I looked on the couch to find another note.
"Hey babe! You're one step closer to finding your surprise! *cue the crowd applause*" I giggled again at her. She was so corny. "You'll find the next clue where we had our first kiss. Love, the best girlfriend in the whole wide world." She left another kiss. I put the note in my pocket and then went back to the room and grabbed the note off the nightstand. I put it in my pocket also. Then, I grabbed my keys and made my way to the park where we had our first kiss. I went over to the big tree and smiled at it rubbing my hand over it. It was where y/n and I had our first kiss 4 years ago. I found the next note in some branches.
"Hola, mi amor. Doesn't this bring back memories? *sigh* Anyways, by now there's a 99.9% chance I'm missing you so hurry up and find the next clue! You can find it at the place where you first got jealous. Love y/n" I put the card in my pocket. I thought for a second. The little pastry shop across the street! The waiter kept flirting with her and I had gotten soooo jealous. I laughed and shook my head. I walked across the street to the pastry shop and found the next clue on a table. "Hey boo! I remember this day like it was yesterday! You're so hot when you're jealous."
I giggled and shook my head.
"This is the second to last clue. Sadly, the scavenger hunt is coming to an end but on the bright side, I get to see you soon! :) Go to the place I asked you to be my girlfriend at. I love you and I'll see you soon!" I got in my car and drove to the fancy restaurant about 10 minutes away. I was so underdressed. I walked up to the reservation podium and the lady smiled at me. "Lauren?" She asked. I nodded and smiled. She handed me a box with a bow around it with a envelope taped on top. The envelope said to open the box first, so I did. There was a beautiful red dress in it. I went to the bathroom and put it on. It was a long, flowing dress with a slit going up the leg. It was beautiful and I smiled in the mirror. I let my hair down from the bun it was in and let it flow down my back. I put on the heels that were in the box and the beautiful diamond necklace that was also in it. I sighed happily. How did I get so luck? I left out the bathroom with all the notes in my hand, the box, and the envelope. The lady at the podium took the box from my hands and smiled. I opened the envelope next. I found another note. "Hello beautiful! I hope you like your gifts. (This isn't a clue so you still have one more) Go to the exact table that I asked you to be my girlfriend." I looked around. Only then did I notice that the restaurant was completely empty. That's quite strange. I walked to the table and there was another note on it. I took a seat and read it "Hey lovely! This is the last clue. Dun! Dun! Dun! For this one, I need you to go to the place where I proposed." I furrowed my eyebrows. What is she talking about? Just them I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to see my beautiful girlfriend. She had on a long flowing blue dress with a slit also. Her hair was flowing and she had a big smile on her face. I quickly stood up and hugged her, wrapping my arms around her neck. She wrapped hers around my waist. I sat down again and looked at the card. "I don't know what this card means when it says go to the place where you first-" I looked up and found y/n on one knee with a ring in her hand. My mouth fell open and I was speechless. "You are the love of my life. My everything. I'm in love with you and I have been for years. I want to start a family with you and be with you until my dying day. Lauren Michelle Jauregui, will you marry me?" She asked. I felt myself tear up. I nodded, unable to form any words because of the lump in my throat. She smiled widely and put the ring on my finger. I bent down and kissed her passionately. I pulled back and rested my forehead against hers. "I love you so much. I'm lucky to call you mine." I said truthfully. "I'm the lucky one here." She said. I couldn't wait to be her wife and for her to be mine.
