"Hey Normani! It's y/n. The girl from the meet and greet. I don't know if you remember me or not, but I just wanted you to have my number." I texted Normani when I got home from the concert.
"Hmmm.... I'm not sure if I remember you. Would you send a selfie or something?" she replied back.
I found my best selfie and I sent it to her.
"Beautiful! (PS I knew who you were, but I wanted to get a picture of you😉) Are you busy rn?" she sent back.
I smiled widely and giggled a little. This girl will be the death of me.

(a/n: These are the texts between you two. Y=You and N=Normani)

Y: Nope! I'm not busy at all.
N:Can I call you?
Y: I'm sure it's possible.
N:I swear your just like Lauren.
Y: you're*

After you pressed send, your phone rang. It was Mani. You answer it. "Hey Mani!" "Hey boo! Are you busy tomorrow?" "Nope! Why?" I asked confused. "I'm taking you out. On a date." she said confidently. I smiled. "Well what makes you so sure I would want to go on a date with you?" I asked playfully. "Who wouldn't? I'm smart, funny, kind, and fine as hell. I'm the whole package." she said. "Cocky.....I like it." I said. She laughed. "I'm just kidding. Would you like to go on a date with me tomorrow?" she asked seriously. "Hmmmm....well you're hot, you're funny, you're kind, you can sing, you can dance, and you don't have any kids..... No, I don't think I would like to go on a date with you. I like my girls ugly, dumb, uncoordinated, mean, and tone deaf, with 3 kids and a dry sense of humor." I said. She laughed. I love her laugh. "Ha.Ha. Very funny. But I'm serious baby!" she whined after she stopped laughing. Baby? Ughhhhhhhh, my feels. I blushed. "I would love to go on a date with you, Normani." I said softly. "Good. I'll pick you up at 7. Text me your address babe." "Will do,ManiBear." She giggled a little. I texted her the address. "Wanna pull an all-nighter with me?" she asked. "I would be honored, Normani Kordei Hamilton." I said back. She laughed. "You are something else." she said. We spent the rest of the night talking about our childhood and asking questions about each other. We talked until the sun came up and there was never a dull moment.
