"and then he looked at my butt!" I embarrassingly ranted to Hanji who was digging through a cabinet in her lab.

"aha!" she pulled some things out that crinkled loudly, and turned to me with them in her hand.

"so, Marina. Are you a pads, or tampons type of girl?" She shamelessly asked me loudly, a wicked grin on her face. I crossed my arms and looked away from her stare with a heated face.

"pads" I mumbled under my breaths, averting my eyes to her, and then away in a split second.

Hanji cocked an eyebrow, and tilted her head slightly.

"hm?" she verbalized, confused on what came out of my mouth due to the low amount of volume I had spoken with.

"pads." I said, only a little bit louder. I didn't like admitting my fear towards using tampons. Especially when I had the reputation of a strong soldier who lacks fear. Sure, being flung into a titans mouth doesn't scare me, but sticking something up my private does!

"Marina you've got to speak loud-"

"I SAID PADS!" I bursted finally, "DO YOU THINK I WANT TO SHOVE ONE OF THOSE THINGS UP MY-"

Hanji's mouth formed into an "o" shape, before she began bursting out laughing at my words. But before I could finish my sentence, she stopped me.

"hold it there! you wouldn't want the captain to hear such vile words" she teased, slapping on her knees as she chuckled more.

"What? Why are you bringing him up? It's not like he can hear me from in here?" I spoke quickly, already anxious at the topic of him being brought up after that humiliating encounter involving him earlier.

"I'm messing with you. So then.." she held the pads out for me with a wide smile. I took them, my hands gripping onto the wrapping aggressively.

"feisty" Hanji muttered with an amused expression, giggling a bit more at my annoyed, red face. I shook my head to ignore her remark, and turned around to leave. After all, I still need to go to the captains office to discuss my punishment.

As soon as I stepped out, my name was called.

"Marina!" The youthful voice said, and by the loudness, I knew who it was. The running footsteps stopped in front of me, and I pivoted to face him.

Before I could speak, he beat me to it.

"Why weren't you at training today? You know Levi Heichou was really mad! We even went into the training forest with our ODM gear!"

"oh don't even tell me, Eren" I replied to him, my aggravation rising at the mention of the ODM gear training I missed. It was my favorite, "I just .. had a bit of a rough morning, that's all"

Eren gave me a questioning look,

"What happened?" He asked me.

I sighed, picturing my morning all over again.

"you know what? I just remembered I had to go to Captains office" I excused myself, "I should go before I get into more trouble.. bye"
