"Aaaghh!" I shook awake, quickly slapping a hand over my mouth to stop my yelling. My heart was beating just over its average page, and a thin layer of sweat blanketed over my forehead. Sheesh, what a nightmare.

I threw the blanket off my body, trying to cool myself down. Feeling paranoid as ever, my eyes scanned the dark room in search to make sure no tall man was standing in a corner watching me. There was nothing in the room. The only sign of human presence being the small breaths of Krista coming from above me.

I stood up from the bed, taking notice of my breathlessness. I wasn't sick was I? No, of course not. The nightmare I had really got me scared that time, I often had nights where I wouldn't even remember if I had a dream. The only times I did dream was when I had nightmares that would force me awake.

As I heard the door barely creak when I pushed on it; I couldn't help but recall the last time I snook out of bed during the night. What was captain Levi even doing out of bed at that time? I thought I was being so slick, yet he was wide awake. Hopefully that isn't the case this time.

Even so, my intentions this times aren't going to get me in trouble. I just wanted some water, If I were to get caught outside my room at this time, there wouldn't be a bottle of wine behind my hands. (which i'm still really upset about)

I didn't notice last time how eerie HQ felt in the absence of all the rambunctious soldiers who usually crowded the place. When your being left with nothing but the dark followed by silence, it could seem almost scary. But I had seen much more scary things than darkness, plus I knew my way around HQ with my eyes closed.

Before I knew it I was in the mess hall, surprisingly enjoying the large amount of space with nobody else. I got a cup as silent as I possible could, making sure to hold my breath when I'd make movements prone to causing noise.

And finally, I was able to lower my guard once the cup was in my hands filled with water. My only initiative right now was to drink the water, obviously.

"There better not be wine in that"

I choked on the water I was in the middle of swallowing and bit my tongue in efforts to shut up. My eyes bulged out of my head as I looked straight ahead to see the Captain who once again was roaming the headquarters at night. Are you kidding me? Was all I could think.

"I was just quickly grabbing water, sorry for being out o-"

"you apologize too much" he interrupted, walking right past me and grabbing a teacup. My lips parted with surprise and I turned to look at the man who simply didn't care that I was out of my room this late. My eyes scanned over his appearance, noticing his uniform was still on and his hair looked messier than usual.

If my memory is right, I'm pretty sure last time I ran into him at night he was wearing different clothes. They weren't even pajamas to be precise, they were like outerwear clothes.

I sipped my water silently. If I was as quiet as possible he might forget I'm here. But suddenly the feeling of eyes crept on me, which meant my theory didn't work.

"Tea?" Levi's voice broke the silence, and he watched me as he waited for an answer.

I shook my head, "no thanks, I don't really like tea.."
