"this wig makes me look like a damn idiot" Jean hissed, adjusting the brunette hair on his head.

"then your perfectly in character" I said, crossing my arms over my chest as I barely turned my head to glance at someone else who stood farther away next to the Commander. Levi wasn't wearing his uniform, instead he was in dressy clothes. A suit without a tie, but a cravat.

Captain turned his head almost as if he could sense my stare, and then began to approach us.

"Jean, get in the carriage" He ordered, then turned to me, "and you should be where you're supposed to be"

"sorry sir!" I saluted and ran off where the other soldiers had been camping out in case we need to fight. As I walked past an alley way, I halted my steps by the two familiar voices who spoke to each-other with mischievous whispers.

"what are we going to do if annie gets caught?!" one of the voices said, which was recognizable. Yet I couldn't put my finger on who was speaking.

"she's already caught! we can't do anything about it now, the plans going to have to be changed" The other voice said, "we're going to have to find a way to catch eren ourselves"

Catch Eren? Like when the female titan tried to? The female titan named annie? Are these people who are talking allies with the enemy?

I took a few steps backwards, and peeked to see the two men who were talking. A small gasp escaped my lips, and I saw Bertholdt and Reiner, instantly turning their heads at the sound of my gasp.

Reiners eye met with mine, and for a split second I felt my heart stop. But there was nothing to do about it as soon as a large explosion could be heard in the distance.

I snapped my head in the direction of it, and saw none other than the female titan herself flashing into sight with bright light surrounding her. Without a moment to even think, she was already stomping through buildings, causing mayhem as people surrounding her location screamed.

I drew my swords.

"Marina! Wait!" Jean came running behind me, his cape on, and his wig gone. I cocked an eyebrow at him, and spun around completely to face the man running towards me.

"Jean? What happened to the disguise?" I asked him, surprised to see how quickly it's been for him to already give up on trying to be Eren.

"I'm helping! There's no way I can be that maniac" He said to me. But my eyes trailed down to see his empty hands and no gear.

I grabbed his wrist and began running.

"Go on to squad 4 to get gear before you get killed!" I found myself yelling through the noise of loud footsteps, screaming, and other soldiers yelling at the titan as they made attempts to come at it.

"got it!" Jean replied back, making me let go of his wrist and allow him to run off by himself. I stood still for a moment, watching him become farther away until it felt safe enough to return back to my original duty.
