                 ♥️Marriage day♥️

"𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗜 don't know what I will do to you If this fell off from my hips" He laughed while doing a knot with the veshti...yah! I can pronounce it well after Tarun's continuous teaching.

He just tugged the veshti without any safety pins in my hip?!

"What If it untangle and I have a serious wardrobe malfunction?!" I asked him in horror. "It won't buddy" I almost gasped in shock when I felt that clothe getting loose on my lip.

"I can't trust you nor this veshti" I shook my head and hooked some safety pins on the veshti.

"You would be the first person to do this" Tarun snickered at my actions.

Well, who cares, those safety pins will save my reputation If sometimes the veshti decided to slid down from my hips and show off myself in boxers to so many people in the hall.

I swear I had never seen this much of people for marriage in my life.

"It's time come on" I studied myself once in the mirror. Okay, I feel weirdly good. Aadhya would love this attire on me, right?

Of course yes!.

White and gold border button-up shirt and veshti, plus there was a small piece of scarf that came with the set of clothes, but Tarun said it's not necessary to wear it.

I wonder how I would look If I wore this scarf just like how Aadhya would wear it... Imagine Richard...

Eh-no it looks very funny.

Shaking my head, I left the groom's room and was instantly swooned by many people, some known faces, so many unknown faces.

The cameraman was also telling me to walk in this direction, and tilt my head like this and chin up and blah blah...I eventually glared at him.

Well, that was none other than one of my colleagues Trevor. He insisted on carrying off this cameraman job.

And he is annoying me to the core now.

My mom's jaw was divided as she looked at me from top to bottom. I gave her the same reaction.

She was wearing a saree so as my sister, yes I learned that costume's name as saree from Aadhya.

And this is the first time I'm seeing my mother and sister in that costume.

It's gorgeous indeed.

Finally, I was seated on the stage and was asked to do some rituals. I couldn't pronounce most of the words that the priest is saying so I just moved my lips without creating audible sounds.

But I am praying inside my head and heart to live with my Aadhya for as long as my heart beats.

A few minutes later, the priest yelled something and within seconds, Aadhya came.

Goddamn it!

May I just kidnap her and go to an island!

She looks beautiful to the point I couldn't decipher it.

The gold jewels along with the reddish-orange saree suit so good to her.

"Stop drooling and close your mouth, Richard," Maha said into my ear, catching me very off guard. I looked straight and found many people who were in the marriage hall with shy smiles on their faces.

Goodness.

Subsequently, Aadhya was spotted next to me. I could feel myself getting hot, due to the flaring sacred fire in front of us.

Soon, the musicians produced a high sound with their instruments and I tied the gold nupital chain around Aadhya's neck.

Flowers were showered upon us as I was doing it.

I got a cozy feeling when I raised my eyes to look at Aadhya.

"Beautiful" I mumbled and she looked around with her pupils dilated. "Not now" she whispered. I winked at her, making her to look down in shyness.

Applying some vermillion on her hair partition and nupital chain...there came upon a lot of rituals.

We got blessings from both our parents and again as we reached the mansion...we were asked to do many rituals till the evening.

Packing our stuff and refreshing we were all on our way to the airport at the twilight.

One more time, I am gonna marry my love in the customs my family and I had been following.

Boarding the aircraft, we were all seated comfortably in our respective places. Aadhya held my hand tightly and shut her eyes close in fear as the plane took off.

How precious.

I chuckled and kissed her cheeks.

"Ayooooo" she clutched my arms and said something. "Ishwara! kaapathunga enna!(Lord Shiva please rescue me)" I gave her a confused look.

She let out a relieved sigh as the plane successfully took off. "What did you exclaim just now?" She pinched my cheeks as she spoke. "I was praying to god" I smiled warmly at her statement.

After a very hectic and tiring journey, we were finally landed in the US.

And that was on the next day, evening.

My in-laws and Rahul uncle's family stayed in my home while Maha and Tarun left for their apartment.

Aadhya threw me a frowned look as I flopped on the bed beside her with my shoes on."I will remove it, gimme a minute" she nodded her head as I wearily discarded it.

Jetlag is getting to our heads.

Aadhya made herself adjust on top of me, prodding me to smile faintly.  Shortly after that, we both were dragged to the dreamland.

The next sunrise, we got up earlier to be prepared for our marriage which would be held in the church.

Once in church, when I was grooming myself up, Aadhya came to meet me--yet another time, she drives my heart to surrender to her beauty.

The long white gown, made her look like an angel.

"Richard...umm...I'm not comfortable with us kissing in front of so many people" she fiddled with her fingers and said with hesitancy.

I can understand.

"Then we don't have to kiss...simple!" I beamed at her. Her comfort is the one that matters the most to me.

"I'm sorry" She stared down urging me to raise her chin by my fingers and place a soft kiss on her lips.

"No need to apologize" She merely nodded her head.

The marriage proceeded with our vows of love and commitment towards each other.

After the two words "I do" that were slipped out of our lips, we exchanged rings. Sure there were some gasps as we didn't kiss at the aisle. But I'm extremely happy as I got this girl for my entire life.

My Aadhya...
