𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 fall asleep in here itself!? Fuck, I don't even remember when we both went into slumber. I was actually planning onto tease her a lot as for the reason of her trying to prank me with that song lyrics.

Acting dumb is so simple than I thought and deceiving Aadhya is...do I really need to explain about that?

I looked at the clock on the sidewall which showed 8.15 am. I have no mood to go to work today.

I'm kinda disappointed in Tarun for not letting me know about his love for Maha to me first. Although I know about his interest in her earlier, yet hearing it from him would have made me a little happier rather than heeding it from my sister.

Besides that too, I want to be with this girl who is sleeping in my arms like a koala.

Smiling, I brought my hands to her divided lips and joined them together.
She slapped away my hands and stirred in her sleep.

Slowly, her eyes parted and she looked at me without blinking. "Richard! What I messaged you yesterday is all a prank. It's the lyrics of a song." She shot up and sat on the bed, staring at me anxiously.

"I know it's a prank, and I was just playing around with you" I winked making her face go into a deep frown which gradually changed into cute anger coated face.

"How dare you!" She narrowed her eyes at me. "May I show?" She gave me a skeptical look. "May I show you how dare I am?" Apparently grasping onto the double meaning in my words, she shook her head busily.

"No no" saying that she rushed towards her restroom and shut the door close.

Shaking my head at her, I stood up and let out a yawn.

And as soon as I unlocked the door, I was met with my sister who was coming out of my room. "Wait-what were you doing in that room? Isn't that Tarun's sister's one?" She raised her eyebrows making me roll my eyes.

"That's none of your business" I sleepily wandered past her to enter my room. "Brooo" she tugged my arms, doing puppy eyes to make me spill out the news she needed.

"We are dating" smacking her head, I passed into my room. "Really!?" I turned around and smiled sweetly at her. "You heard me right" her eyes went wide. "Does mom know?" I nodded my head at her question. "She does" she pouted over my reply.

"Only I'm single now!!" She whined while I chuckled and proceeded to close the door.

Doing my daily routine, I declined down the stairs to have food after checking upon Aadhya who was studying for her exams.

"Where's aunty?" I asked as I settled beside Tarun on the dining chair "She went along with Amanda to roam around the city" Uncle replied to my question with a smile and I nodded at him, reciprocating the same gesture.

On the way to our research, I restrained my eyes on Tarun and queried him about Maha. "Amanda told me about Maha, you should have informed me first," I said with a grunt.

"I was not quite sure then" he had a regretful stare on his face and I shrugged off this topic.

I understood the real struggle of third-wheeling during the research in the village! Goodness.

I have been stuck between these two love birds and I couldn't help my mind from wandering back to Aadhya.

To divert my mind, I started to concentrate on the work. We had already completed taking a survey of most of the areas in this village, just a few more are left, which means, we will have to leave for the US soon.

Oh shit!

Whatever might happen, I ain't coming to work tomorrow. Since there is not much time, I will make sure to spend it with Aadhya.

In the evening we left the village, and it took a lot of effort from Tarun to convince Maha to let him go.

Reaching the mansion, I directly made my way to my room and freshened up.

Then I excitedly went to Aadhya's room but to my disappointment, the door was locked.

Yet as I knocked on it, Aadhya unlocked the door.

Fuck!

She had just taken bath, her wet hair was wrapped up in a towel and I could feel myself getting evoked by her alluring view.

As always, she was wearing a top that reaches to her knees, but she ain't wearing that long scarf right now.

Cut the crap!

I can't control myself.

"Richard..." She started while I pushed her inside the room by holding her throat with my hand. She whimpered as  I slammed her against the closed door and pecked on her lips.

"You are so beautiful" I whispered into her ear and planted kisses all over the side of her neck.

She held the shirt on my torso tight and I continued to suck on her skin.

With my free hand, I pulled down the clothe from her shoulder along with the bra strap and bite down there, earning a hissing sound along with a gasp from her.

I traced my lips from her shoulder all the way up to her cheek and smooched her skin.

She turned her head and perked up at me. "I missed you" She mumbled, getting on her tiptoes and hugging me.

"Same but don't worry, I won't be going to work tomorrow" she faced me and raised her eyebrows.

"How?" I pecked on the top of her nose and spoke. "Because I caught cold" she offered me a confusing look and then giggled.

"Cheater!" I smirked at her realization.

"And Richard! Tomorrow is Karthigai" I blinked cluelessly at the word.

"What does it mean?" She smiled and kissed my lips.

"You will know it tomorrow," she said after pulling away.

I nodded my head and we continued to devour each other's lips.
