Over the next several months things got interesting.
December: Dad and I decided to wait and get Embry a truck for his birthday next October. Embry and I remained close and stuck to our Christmas promise of cookies and movies.
I was dating Emmett at this point and things were going well. Spending time with him was fun and exciting. And being with this family was wonderful as well. We couldn't seem to get enough of each other. I was typically always at his house for a while after school and on weekends.
January: Emmett and I were still going strong. We kept getting closer and going on several dates. The most we've done is kiss because im not ready for anything else yet and he understands. However, we have had some pretty intense make out session. He's starting to grow on me even more and I'm falling for him.
February: I've started opening up more to Emmett. He knows some of my past but does not know about the powers and the extent of the abuse I faced. However, he does know i was abused badly. I started spending over nights on weekends with him every other weekend.
We were growing as well as our mate bond was going strong but has not been completed yet because I am not ready. He has started to kind of push the subject more and push his boundaries but when I ask him to stop he does.
I eventually started talking to rose about the issues. She had noticed on day while I was at their house that he had started to make me uncomfortable sometimes. We would always go to our rock self and talk.
"Violet, you need to just be honest with him and tell him to stop. I know he has backed off some but I really think he is going to just keeping pushing his limits with you." Rosalie says.
"Yeah, I know. Am I wrong for not being ready yet? I mean from the age of 9 to 13 when I was rescued I faced a lot of sexual harassments. It has only been roughly four years since I got away from that environment." I say.
"No, you are not wrong for not being ready yet. I still face my own trauma sometimes. So it is okay to still want to wait." She tells me.
March: A new girl started school. Her name was Bella. She was shy and awkward. We got along really well. We became friends quickly. Shortly after she started school, she found out what Edward was because Jacob told her about the stories and she found a book on the legends. So now Edward and Bella are dating even though she is his bloodsinger.
Things with Emmett and I started to get a little tense. I still haven't given in to be physical with him yet and he's kind of starting to get mad every time i tell him I'm not ready.
Also, He wasn't happy to find out I'm close and pretty much family with the pack. He kept going on about how they are dangerous and I need to stay away from them and be with him so I know I'm safe. He was also starting to get weird about my friendship with Embry.
