It's been a week now that I was sick and I'm finally better. It is four days until Valentine's Day and I don't know what to do for Embry. I'm broken out of my thoughts with a knock on my door.
"It's open" I yell. I look up to see dad coming in.
"Hey sweetie got a minutes?" He asked.
"Of course!" I say.
"I'm thinking about proposing to Leah on Valentine's Day. I already talked to her dad and he's given me his blessing. What do you think?" He asks.
"Dad you are in love with her. She's perfect for you and has helped you so much with your past. But I also need to ask you something if you go through with this." I say.
"Okay what is it?" He asks.
"I want to ask Leah to adopt me. She's been there for me through so much. My heart break with Emmett, girl talk, my emotions, Embry and so much more. Do you think she'd want to adopt me?" I ask
I look up to see tears in dads eyes, "oh sweetie yes of course she would."
"Okay so why don't you have your day planned with her and ask her to marry you, and later that night before you all go to bed I give her my gift?" I ask.
"That sounds perfect" he says.
"Also, what do guys want for Valentine's Day? I don't know what to get Embry." I ask him.
"Well is there anything he's talked about maybe wanting?" Dad asks.
"I know for a while he was saving up so he could get the new Xbox. His old one is glitching out." I say "he's also mentioned wanting to dog too but I always tell him if he wants a dog to make one of the guys phase to play fetch and he doesn't like that response very lol." I say laughing.
"Honestly if you want to get him both sweetie. Just show him how much you appreciate all he's done for you these last 6 months. Plus the house is plenty big so another dog won't hurt. What kind does he want?" He asks.
"An Australian Shepard." I say.
"Well why don't you go and take care of that stuff in town while you pick up the papers for Leah. I'll keep Embry distracted." Dad says.
"Also, while I am out, I am meeting with Rose today to give her the vile." He nods his head to walks out the door.
I do some research on some puppies and found someone selling a blue Merl Aussie.
I contact them and he was still available. So I told him I want to buy the puppy today so we are meeting in Port Angeles. I jump into my jeep and head out.
I texted Rose on when and where to meet me. I make my first stop at the gaming store and by the new Xbox, a couple controllers, a Xbox live membership and a new head set. Once I get it all paid for I load it up and get some Starbucks where i will meet Rose.
