I introduced the team the pack. Everyone agrees to a cookout at the house. I told everyone I was going to run to the store but they could all go to the house. Embry stayed behind to help with the dogs.
Once I get to the store I get out of my jeep and start to walk in. I'm not watching where I'm going because I'm looking through my purse for the list.
Suddenly someone comes up and puts their hand over my mouth and drags me behind the store in the alley away from everyone. I'm slammed up against the brick wall hard and feel my back ache knowing it would bruise.
I open my eyes and see that it's Emmett standing in front of me.
"Well well where's your little mutt now? You should have just come back with me but no you had to stay with them." He slaps me across the face knocking me to the ground.
Before I can even get up he knocks me back down again and starts beating me calling me a slut, whore, bitch, you name it and he said it.
I can feel my ribs are broken, I can already feel the bruises starting to form, I have a hand mark around my neck from where he was choking me and even tried to rip my shirt off of me to take things further.
I kept fighting the best I could till he heard people sort of close to us and then he took off. I didn't have my purse or phone on me anymore. They were in the parking lot. I curl up and cry trying to gain the strength to move.
I finally get myself up and start walking. I'm almost to my jeep when I collapse on the ground and pass out in the middle of the parking lot.

We are all at the house waiting for Violet to get home. We are all talking and hanging out when Bucky's phone rings. He answers it putting it on speaker.
