Time skip
Today is the day of the battle. I'm a nervous wreck. I'm scared Embry won't come home, or a member will get hurt.
I have the girls out of bed and headed over to the pack house. Embry is already there because the guys had to be there early to eat before. I told Emily if she did breakfast I would cook for the after battle.
When we got to the house everyone was standing outside talking. Embry, Paul and, Quil came over and got the girls. Embry brought me to the side as the guys took the girls. Embry cups my face looking at me.
"Baby, I know you don't want to hear this, but if something happens to me.." he starts but I cut him off.
"No. Don't. Please don't make this goodbye. Embry I can't lose you. You have to come back to us the girls and I need you. Please just come back to us. I know this is part of your duty to the pack but it sucks that you are risking you life because of her. When this shouldn't be happening." I say softly as tears begin to pool into my eyes.
Embry lifts my chin and wipes my tears away. "I love you so much Violet Call. You are the greatest thing that has happened to me. I will try my very best and hardest to come home to you and our daughters okay? But if something does happen know that's I love you so very much babygirl." He says kissing me softly.
There's something I need to tell him but I can't. Not know. He would freak out and it would make him distracted during the battle.
"Embry Call, you are the greatest thing I could've ever asked for. You are such a great husband and father. Just please come home to us. I love you so much sweetness." I tell him giving him a kiss.
Soon the pack left and I felt stuck in time waiting for him to come home. Minutes felt like hours, and hours felt like days.
"Violet are you okay?" Rosalie asked.
"No I'm not. I'm pregnant. I didn't tell Embry because I didn't want him distracted. And now there's a chance I will have to raise these girls and baby on my own." I blurt out.
By now Emily is sitting down next to me.
"When did you find out?" Emily asked.
"A couple days ago. I had started feeling nauseous so I went and got it checked out while the guys were at training one morning. So when I got there I was expecting the flu or something not a baby. I couldn't tell him because Embry would just worry the entire time and I couldn't do that to him." I say as I start to cry.
"Violet it's going to be okay. And you won't be alone in this. I haven't told Jared this either but I'm pregnant too." Rose says.
Emily and I look at her. She has a smile on her face like I've never seen before.
"You get to have a baby? We get to have babies together?!" I say getting more excited.
"Yes we do. And we will never be alone. We have this entire pack, and your team if you ever need help." Rose says giving me a hug.
"We need to figure out a way to tell the boys together." I say pulling out my phone.
We start looking at little wolf onesies that we could give them along with the picture of the baby from the ultrasound. We soon place our orders that should get here tomorrow. I hope all goes well and rose and I can do this for the guys.
I start cooking food for the guys while Emily and Rose watch over zoey and Natalia. It seems like hours have gone by when suddenly one of the newest boys comes running in.
"The battle is over but Jacob got crushed by a leech. It got its arm around him and crushed half of his bones on his side. But everyone else is okay." He tells us.
I feel like I can finally breathe. My husband is alive, he will get to meet his puppy. I start crying knowing he's alive.
Since the food is all done, I cover everything to keep it warm and we head over to Billy's. When we get there Embry runs over to me and our girls.
As he gets to us he picks up zoey and hugs her tightly kissing her head. He comes over to me while I'm holding Natalia, and places his arm around me. I start to tear up knowing my sweetness is safe.
"Hi baby" he says kissing my forehead.
"Hi sweetness." I say back looking up into his eyes and lean up to kiss him.
The kiss was long and soft. It was interrupted by Zoey and Natalia's and her fit of giggles. We looked over and see both were smiling at us.
"I love you girls so much. You are everything to me." He tells all of us giving us each a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you too daddy." Zoey says. Natalia gives him a gummy smile "dada" and when it's my turn I place my hand on his face, "I love you." I tell him.
Everything was finally okay. No more new born leeches coming around. We can focus on our family now. I'm still nervous to tell him about the baby on the way but he will be happy right?
It will be our first child we made together. Zoey will always be our first daughter and Natalia second, but this baby, was made out of our love for one another and I couldn't wait to meet them.
Bella soon showed up to Billy's house wanting to see Jake. I was shocked. It was her fault this happened in the first place. She soon walked out looking like she was crying. I wonder what he said to her. But I kinda don't care.
The pack all comes back to the house and we all eat together. Everyone is tired and ends up going to their homes and headed to bed finally able to relax since the threat is gone.
