The Dragon-clawed Hartebeest broke into the Ethereal Ascension realm primary stage, who wouldn't pull their beards in disbelief? The scene was same everywhere. The three girls from Gifted Cultivators Academy had long left their bras and panties and begun questioning their rationalities. The nine principals of the Junior Academy of the Gifted weren't spared of this. Some ripped their beards off without even knowing it.
However, all these weren't even taken note by me. I was totally oblivious to my immediate surrounding and immersed into the joy radiating from the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest. It could have been my ecstacy of accomplishing my plan exactly how it'd been planned, or it just could have been a response from my Animal Connectivity. One thing was clear, I was jubilant.
“Thank you, Young Mistress!” cried the beast in its tongue. It began to fawn over me, rubbing its head on my body.
When a beast did this legendary act of fawning over someone, there was only one thing that rung over every beast tamer's head.
“Ahhhh! It's Complete Submission!” screamed the unusually calm Rosie.
The same chaos was, unknowingly to me, going on in the Hall of the Principals.
As all nine principals watched the scream, they couldn't help but throw questioning looks at Dongwu.
“How can this be?” he said, right after the scream from Rosie. He stared hard into the true essence projection before them. “Just what is her Gift?”
“It seems it has something to do with animals, most likely!”
“Definitely not, she's only just a genius. She has potential for Medicines!”
“She needs to be trained in the Way of the Physicians!”
“Haha... good thing I've already sent her my invitation to the Way of Poison Mastery!”
“Vile thing... all she needs is definitely some knowledge in formations, or else if she ever meets such a peculiar circumstance in the future, how can she ensure her own safety?”
“Painting would most definitely fit her personality...”
“Music to the ears, as they say, makes...”
And so all the principals, save for Dongwu who was currently looking hard at the scene in the forest, threw themselves in a tantrum.

Of course, I was unaware of how much trouble I was causing by my every action.
“Quick, what are you waiting for? Send over your blood essence!” I said, happily chuckling like a baby.
At the unblinking eyes of Rosie and Amanda, they watched as the blood essence of the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest they'd been putting off against for four good hours, shoot straight into my glabella.
I closed my eyes gently to accumulate it. I slowly felt my mind broadening up a little more. It was as though an additional mind had been added to mine. I could feel the joy-filled mind of the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest float in my consciousness. I nodded in joy.
Finally turning around, I burst into another fit of laughter on seeing the once prideful ladies looking like madwomen.
I stumped my foot on the ground and dashed upon the back of the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest. It excitedly received me and flaunted me about, as though to scream “in your face!” to the teenage girls that'd almost cost it its life.
“Young Mistress, permit me to visit my cave one last time!” came the telepathic voice of the newly tamed beast.
As a savage beast, it surely understood that the moment it became a tamed beast to someone, its entirety was with that person. And of course... I couldn't reside in a cave, right?
I consented and, together, we moved down the dark cave of the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest.
The cave was quite large, despite the fact that the animal wasn't such a large one. It had no mate with it or something... no kin. It was all alone. In fact, the cave gave off a feeling of gloom.
“What happened here?” I asked in curiosity. I didn't like the message my Animal Connectivity was sending back to me.
The savage beast lowered its head and said, “My home got dilapidated by the Demon tribe, three decades ago. They destroyed my family. I'd survived by mere luck, due to the fact that I had a powerful beast tamer's amulet around my neck, at that time. It was a gift from my parents' beast tamer who'd died in a fight. As his savage beasts, they shared the same life force, and before they died, which was just a month after when the Demon tribe arrived, they were able to protect me using that amulet. Although it was a one-time use, it served its purpose. I was only an innocent, insignificant fawn, back then.”
I was so touched. Did animals really have their own stories? I felt disturbed about what I'd just learnt. If it was so, I feared I'd be unable to taste meat again. Then something quickly struck my mind.
  “The Demon tribe?”
  It nodded but didn't elaborate.
“Do they tame beasts?” I pushed further.
It shook its head and said, a mad aura bursting out from it, “They fed on my family to improve their cultivation!”
My head rung and my heartbeats doubled.
‘Just how were these demons really like?’ At this moment, I couldn't help but wonder. I knew that the simulation in Old Sage Muyu wasn't a perfect gauge of their personality, but their appearance.
At this point, we'd arrived at the inner region of the cave. Green stones that exuded shaded lights hung on several positions of the cave's walls. There were lots of harvests in this place, probably done by the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest in preparation for the winter... it should have been a thing of instincts.
I told it, “I'll stow these away, you'll definitely need them.”
With a wave of my hand, all its harvested grains and grasses (or whatever these were called) were kept into my storage ring. It nodded in pleasure.
“Now that you've tamed me, I'm sure you're curious to know where ‘it’ is,” said the beast.
“Huhn?” I looked down at it in surprise. Just what was it referring to? What was the ‘it’?
It looked at me and was surprised to read my confusion.
“You really don't know anything about me?”
I furrowed my brows and summoned all my mind's knowledge about the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest, but couldn't find anything peculiar beyond the norm.
It paused for a moment before taking me further into the cave.
  “Come and see.”
I got down on entering a much narrower passage.
It soon led me to a hall of about a few metres in width. Sitting on a boulder by the far end of my right hand side, was a shiny, golden ring. It looked very mystical in the dark as it shone with an otherworldly brilliance.
  I was slightly taken aback.
  “A storage ring?”
