It would be real problem if something like this was already public knowledge. How would the God of "Stealth's" identity even be worth it, by then?
"Haha, I'm so glad to see the look in your face!" the man laughed and walked away. And by "away", I do not mean back to his seat. He walked straight outside. I was the only one who understood what he meant by his last statement.
In truth, this man actually gave me the shivers. When I was helping him up (the time he was trying to kneel down) he'd held my little finger (where the invisible ring lay) and infused some form of true essence or something. It was like he'd given the key to the ring. I hadn't realised it before, but now it all made sense.
In the past, the moment I had dripped my blood essence on both my storage and recluse rings, the storage space would appear before my mind. This did not, however, happen for the golden ring I'd gotten from the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest's cave. I'd only felt an additional consciousness in my mind, just like when I tamed a savage beast. I didn't see its interior. I could've discovered this before, but my return journey was too busy to make out the time — besides, the ring was invisible in first place, so the idea didn't have the space to spring up in my mind.
Immediately this essence was infused into the invisible ring on my little finger by Principal Xiezi, the golden ring's consciousness which was previously just spacious but not able to be assessed, suddenly sprung up with colour. There were several books and stuffs lying about in the ring. I quickly retracted my consciousness from it, before the other principals would notice a thing. I looked over my shoulder at the departing figure. There was a smile at the edge of his lips.
"Ha! That eccentric vagabond!" rattled Principal Dongwu with a hearty laughter.
I felt a unique pressure staring at me (despite the fact that all eight principals were staring at me). I traced this pressure with my eyes and they fell on none other than the Principal of the Music Guild, Principal Shige.
'This woman again?'
I'd also felt something I couldn't put a pin to the first time I'd seen her. She laughed like the others, but I could feel the difference. Her laughter was definitely pointing at my puzzlement. It carried this musical tone that was already necessary motivation for me to create my own song... literally.
Principal Dongwu broke my thoughts with a clap and an order.
"Bring the package!"
One of the wait-in attendants (or whatever they'd rather be called) who was standing by the door quickly responded and dashed out of the vicinity. As this one left, questions from left and right were posed at me as to how my journey went. I was even asked to provide Harty, as confirmation that I'd actually succeeded in the test (even though I could see in their eyes that they knew I'd succeeded). I didn't mention about the Shadow Clone teenager I'd murdered, neither did I say anything about what I'd witnessed inside the cave.
"Here it is, Master!"
A breathless man ran into the hall and fell upon one knee before Principal Dongwu. He was holding a shimmering, jade box.
Principal Dongwu nodded and I noticed a glint across the eyes of Principal Daozi of the Blacksmith Guild, when the jade box was opened. I even caught a momentary smirk.
"Principal Daozi and, of course, Principal Xiezi, both worked together to create this emblem for you. Unpin the one on your chest."
I didn't understand why he'd said "and, of course," but I didn't ask either. Although, it was giving me the feeling that Principal Xiezi was my subordinate... hehe, hope they can't read my mind though; execution by hanging would have been my fate with that sort of mindset.
