Not knowing what any of this was about, I immediately made a decision.
I jumped down, straight from Roy's back, guiding my true essence to levitate my weight as I landed nimbly, right beside Xianxian and the groaning Toby.
"Excuse me," I told Xianxian.
He hesitated, asking me with contemplation, "It could affect you, if you haven't a healing Gift."
I tried not to get angry, since he obviously hadn't meant to poison Toby — or had he? Anyways, he looked miserable right now. Teacher Haggz was clearly unwilling to do anything, or probably could not do anything at all.
Without replying him, I fell on my knees and placed my hands on his chest, before letting my essence into his body.
Toby's eyes widened as he felt the strong aura surrounding my true essence and couldn't help but look at me calculatingly.
Without even letting me speak, he immediately began to circulate my true essence towards his right arm. After every flow of true essence, his eyes would widen the more as if he could not believe what was happening. My aura began to repel the poisonous one Xianxian had, for an unknown reason, released inside Toby's arm.
In no time, I knew that the poison had been expelled, but I didn't go on healing the hand, because my classmates would really be wary of me if I could not only communicate with animals, but could repair bones and repel poisons.
"Get him some pills for bone generation, or something," I told Xianxian, before walking away. With a flick of my wrist, Roy disappeared.
I nodded towards Teacher Haggz, to signify my readiness to battle against him.
Without another word more, he walked towards the other side of the field. He waited for me to reach my own end, before he began to speak.
"I'll use the cultivation suppression technique, which you'll be learning next term, to drop my cultivation to your level. Prepare yourself."
I was stunned at first. So it was possible to suppress one's cultivation too? I'd already long learnt how to rein cultivation aura in, but to actually suppress one's cultivation to a lower level, at will? If I could learn that, then I believe my disguise would be just perfect. Immediately, Teacher Haggz's aura began to drop in denseness.
I circulated my clan's cultivation technique to replenish my used up essence, and prepared my brain for sudden sneak attacks. Being in the same cultivation realm didn't literally mean it'd be a fair fight for me. Besides, he would still have the skills of a top-notch cultivator.
Looking around at my classmates staring at me with a complicated gaze, I balled my hands as my storage ring shimmered and an arc of light materialised before me, and a quiver, over my shoulder.
It was time to use the shoot-her-ass technique, hehe, I'll tell Old Sage Muyu about this.
I was definitely going to use everything in my arsenal against Teacher Haggz. After all, he was way powerful than me.
Drawing out three arrows, I swiftly placed them on the string of my bow, as I drew it with the strength of my Meditation realm. Unless you were Old Sage Muyu, I doubt you'd be able to evade this.
'Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!" went the cry of the arrows as they tore through the wind to lock against the potential spots my opponent might adopt.
Teacher Haggz slapped away the first... but I guess he'd forgotten he wasn't in his peak cultivation level, because at that moment, instead of the arrow to be pushed far away, he only pushed it to his shoulder. Thankfully for him, his body had a really strong refinement from all his breakthroughs, so the arrows could only fall down, as they struck him.
But I had more for him.
'Gruuuunt!' the Dragon-clawed Hartebeest, Harty, was unleashed!
A smile broke through my face as the scene of those girls' buttocks being burnt, surfaced through my mind.
"Woo-hoo! This is combat!" Harty was saying.
"Yeah, it sure is," I said, telepathically. "Distract him for me, I need to aim for his ear. He should be able to heal after I shoot it down, right?"
"Evil!" Harty roared as he blew a fiery breath at Teacher Haggz who had just managed to pull out a scary sword. "But I like it!"
I shook my head as I kept shooting one arrow after the other at Teacher Haggz, which he kept swiping off like flies, with the blade of his sword.
I stole a glance at my classmates and saw them watching me closely with amused expressions.
Wanting to show off, I activated Untraceable, the first stage of the Way of Stealth beyond the heavens. Mixed with my United Heavens movement technique, I was a wonder to behold. I moved like a phantom spirit, looking for a loophole to strike.
Teacher Haggz was really impressive. How he was able to evade the flames perfectly, and also strike off my arrows was a mystery. He was really quick, and he couldn't be fooled with faints.
The force of my arrows caused ripples in the air around, and Harty's aura was significantly drawing the attention of the other animals who'd cleared away.
Wait what?
It suddenly dawned on me that they were all coming back. If no one could detect it now, my case was definitely different due to my Animal Connectivity Gift.
A smile broke through my face, once more, as I leaped over Harty's back and shot into the sky for a better aiming at Teacher Haggz, and also for some mischief.
"Roarrr!" Another roar came from behind Teacher Haggz, but he immediately made a back flip and evaded the mountain piercing claws that would have run through him, had he been any slower. "Die, peasant!"
Maybe Teacher Haggz's face would have looked more soured if he had actually heard what this new animal had called him.
Who was that?
It was none other than the copper-fur wolf, my Little Wolfy!
"Flank the other side, while Harty takes your position," I told it, telepathically.
"Yes, Young Mistress!"
But it seems the great expert had more planned out for him, because at that moment, from the direction of the forest came roars of all kinds.
The animals were agitated. Wait, wasn't I their queen now? Hehe, you're dead, handsome teacher.
Ever seen a group of buffaloes charging wildly in a rampageous attack? This was worse. Both creeping and flying animals were currently charging out from the forest.
Turning to my fellow classmates roaring in laughter, I gave a short explanation, as I overlooked the savage beasts running beneath me from Roy's back.
"According to the laws of martial arts of the beast tamers, any savage beast that takes orders from one could support in a beast tamer's battle, even if it is a one-to-one battle."
Everyone nodded in comprehension, a little too exaggeratedly, that it seemed they were being gleeful over Teacher Haggz's predicament. One must remember that he had suppressed his cultivation. The moment he unleashed it back to his peak, then he has accepted that he cannot defeat me were he to be in the same cultivation level as myself.
