"JiAh please come down! Your majesty would be really upset if he found out that you are fooling around in the woods instead of taking your archery classes" Hei Ran said.
Three girls all with beautiful elite features and long hairs tied in braids, dressed in stunning Hanbok were requesting their girl friend to get down of the Red pine tree.
"JiAh please, we request you, have some mercy on us. If you are not coming down,
I swear I'll tell your Majesty that you snuck out of the palace last night and came back in the morning. " Chi Sun threatened her.As JiAh heard this, she immediately jumped off the branch landing on the ground on her feet. (That was quite savage I must say!!!)
JiAh looked at the girl having sable eyes with an expression of disbelief.
"You are supposed to be my best friend instead of being my father's spy. " JiAh said while hitting Chi Sun on her shoulder.
"Of course I am your best friend, but don't expect me to clean the can of worms you spill everytime. Let me die in peace alright. "
JiAh rolled her eyes and decided to drop down her argument.
LATER
All the girls went back to the palace hoping no one is aware about their trip to the forest.
"Welcome back girls, " a woman spoke from behind.
All the girls were stunned for a moment. They knew this familiar voice and started to calculate their fate five minutes from now. If she found out where they were, they were going to get the best scolding of their life.
They turned to look at the beautiful middle aged woman, dressed in royal silk dress, wearing beautiful studded gold jewellery. Her hair were tied, making her appearance look strong and charismatic.
"Mother! " JiAh exclaimed.
"How was your class? " the queen asked her daughter with a blank expression and a firm tone.
"It was great mother, we really learned many things there. " JiAh said with a nervous smile on her face.
The other girls were looking at each other and trying to force a smile on their face to cover up the lie JiAh was saying.
"Oh my sweet little daughter! I don't remember you having an ability to get invisible, cause when I went to your class, I couldn't see any of you four. Not to mention, even a bug cannot get undetected from my eyes, let alone the four of you who are fully grown human girls. "
All of them were silent, until the eyes of the queen bore into their soul and she raised an eyebrow, commanding to spill the beans.
Finally JiAh gave up, "Sorry Mother. It was all my fault. I just wanted to explore the forest. I can never get out of the palace except for my classes. So, I just skipped today. I shouldn't have done that, I am really ashamed of myself. "
"JiAh, you are not some ordinary girl. You are the princess of this kingdom. People look up to you as an idol and you should behave like one. Now you can go back to your room. " the queen said in a soft tone, clearly melted by the puppy eyes of her daughter, "And mind you, we have our guards recruited in the front gate of the palace and also outside your door, so don't even think of having your little tour tonight, like you did last night"
The only thing JiAh could do was to giggle nervously, realizing she has been exposed and all of them made a sprint to her room.
"Woah! Your mother knows everything. Now you finally have to stop cruising around the woods. Bad luck JiAh. " Chi Sun taunted while giving a smirk of satisfaction, that she don't have to be a partner in crime with her friend anymore.
"Who said I would not be going outside the palace. No one can stop me. " JiAh challenged the other three.
"But JiAh, the guards are everywhere. If they saw you they'll tell the queen and we'll be as good as dead. "
"I'm not going the right way, so no one would see me. I'll be using the window. "
JiAh was impressed by her own brilliant plan. The others were shocked. They looked at JiAh with wide eyes. They couldn't believe she could be so crazy about going out of the palace that she won't even consider how dangerous her plan was.
"Are you out of your mind JiAh? We are in the highest queen tower. If you fell down, it would cost you your life. " Chi Sun was now frustrated by how JiAh was behaving. Immature and reckless.
JiAh ignored her and went to her cupboard where she had a rope ladder which her mother gave her, to use in case of any emergency.
"JiAh, I don't think we should do this. This is really dangerous. If anything went wrong, it would be a suicide. " Hei Ran said, clearly not liking what was happening there, literally holding her tears back.
"Don't worry Hei, we are warriors remember? We should be prepared for any tough situation that could come without knocking. "
With these words of advice JiAh tied the ladder from one end of the window sill and threw the rest of the ladder, as it hanged outside the window.
She climbed the window sill, ready to make her move. It was dark outside and was perfect as no one could see her. She kept one feet on the ladder and tried to make a grip. It was tight and perfect. Slowly she started climbing down.
JiAh was happy and excited to think about this crazy plan. She was confident that this time her mother couldn't catch her. The touch of the grass on her feet and the smell of the cherry blossoms always mesmerized her. This risk was worth it for all the happiness and freedom she find outside the palace.
She was so deep in thoughts, that the next step that she was about to take missed. She stumbled and tried to hold back onto the ladder but it was too late. The ladder was already beyond her grip.
"JiAh! JiAh! Nooooooo! Oh No! What should we do? She fell down. "
The other girls were shocked to see this. They couldn't believe this was happening.
JiAh could see herself falling down of the tower. As she fell, she could experience heaviness in her stomach, like she can fly but it wasn't happening. Any moment she would hit the concrete and its over. All her dreams, all her aspirations were going to end. She was going to end. With each second that passed she could feel darkness covering her eyes, and all the hopes were gone. She closed her eyes as she spoke, "Now, it ends here. "
"JiAh! JiAh! Wake up." Chi Sun was calling out loud, "Are you going to wake up or not? "
JiAh opened her eyes to see Chi Sun infront of her standing with an irritated expression, maybe because of the amount of time JiAh had passed out.
"Am I alive? " Were the only words she could manage to say.
Chi Sun couldn't believe her ears by listening to such a ridiculous question.
"Well for the amount of time you'd been sleeping, I too mistook you as a dead body. Now get up, we have to go for the site visiting for our project. We are already late. ""Site visiting? Project? Wait what? "
JiAh was confused. It took her a whole minute to compose herself and realize what the real world was. "I was dreaming? It was really scary. I almost died. ""Did you said something? " Chi Sun asked without looking at her, busy in blending her foundation.
"Uhm...No! I was just doing my morning prayers. "
JiAh let out a nervous giggle.
"When did you get so religious? Anyways get ready fast. We have to leave in fifteen minutes. "
JiAh got out of the bed, relieved that whatever she saw was just a dream. She hurried and got ready. After stuffing a toast in her mouth, she and Chi Sun left the house to go to their workplace.
The night was long but now this day will be energetic and refreshing. Nothing could get wrong today. Give it your all JiAh, you can do it.
JiAh smiled as she drove to her destination.
