Saranghae ❤"I don't get it. This is absurd." Jin cursed. "How are we suppose to find Yoon Wu-ah like this?" He shook Yoongi, snapping him out of his thoughts, "are you crazy to accept Namjoon's offer? He's a vulture, he'll eat you whole."
Yoongi just gave a sad smile to the elder, "Hyung! I know what he's capable of but I had to choice." He started walking out of the palace gate, "besides....I'm too tired to fight right now. I just want my brother back!"
Jin watched him walk away. Midst the raindrops pouring on the stony path he appeared like a lost soul seeking salvation in order to atone the oversight that lead to its inexorable demise. He was falling apart but he won't say. Like always, he'll let all the onus fall upon his shoulders.
"Why?" Jin yell making Yoongi stop. "Why won't you kill that good for nothing scoundrel. You forgot what he did to you moth...!!"
"I DIDN'T FORGET!!!!" Yoongi upbraided. Jin was taken aback by his tone. Yoongi looked back at him, lines of despair smeared on his face. He looked much older and weaker than before. His eyelids drawn like a half curtain which concealed the immense amount of pain dwelling within his eyes. "I remember what he did." His voice turned into an inaudible whisper, "but I have people to protect. Yoon Wu and you, I can't lose you both. And not to forget, JiAh has to go home safely. I can't lose everyone left with me in order to seek revenge."
Jin felt his heart aching. He wanted to go hug the man in front of him. Give any sort of physical comfort.
"Then lets go find Yoon Wu!" Both the men turned towards JiAh, who tried to cheer them up. They nodded.
"But where should we find him? Namjoon refused to tell where he was." Jin mentioned.
"Namjoon is a smart man. But his tricks are always patterned." Yoongi highlighted. The other two looked at him like whatever he said just bounced back. Yoongi sighed. "Namjoon likes to torment people by agitating them and wasting their time. Normally people would search in distant places thinking that'll be difficult to search and ignore nearby places. He takes advantage of that human nature."
"So it means he'll keep Yoon Wu somewhere that we'll never think about searching." Jin suggested.
"Exactly!" Yoongi said.
"Your house?!?" JiAh said hesitantly.
"I suppose!" Yoongi remarked.
"But the house's a wreck." Jin pinpointed, "I saw it with my own eyes."
"That's what Namjoon want us to think." Yoongi already started to head towards the way leading to his house.
"Yoongiah! You're a genius!" Jin grabbed Yoongi's shoulder, walking side by side. JiAh smiled watching them walk like an old couple. "JiAh! Don't slack off." Jin called out to her. She jogged to reach them and grabbed Yoongi's other hand.
"What on the earth." JiAh whispered, looking at the ruins of the place once she used to call home in this foreign land. The house was shattered into a heap of charred woods and ashes which was settled down due to massive droplets of rainfall. There was no sign of life even in the near neighborhood. The place must have been evacuated in fear of facing the same fate as Mrs Min. Tears already formed in her eyes to look at the enormous nothing that had became of the place, but before it could spill out she could feel the uncontrollable trembling of her hand. It was annoying how she just couldn't stop the shaking of her own hand.
Calm down JiAh! Don't tremble. You have to be strong. For Yoongi's sake. Stop shaking. Wait! It....it isn't my hand.
