I didn't see Yoongi anywhere.
The man sitting infront of me wasn't Yoongi. The one sitting here was broken, shattered, reduced to dust and buried deep under the soil.
The way Yoongi looked at the piece of land with empty eyes ached my heart. The land with freshly digged mud covering the lifeless form of the only family he had left. The boy who will not call out for him anymore. He'll not hold his hand or give him a cheeky smile. That young kid, who didn't even experienced the flavour of life had experienced the most painful death. Yoongi's brother was gone forever.
Yoon Wu was gone forever.
The man I loved so much lost everything he had just because of me. If only I hadn't been a part of his life, Ajumma and Yoon Wu would still have been alive. He would still have been the General of the Jung army, living a peaceful life and not like an orphan who doesn't even have a single person left to call a family.
I can't leave him all broken after knowing that I'm the reason for it.
I won't leave him alone.
A tear fell on the ground. The falling drop felt louder than the drops of rain cascading the soil.
"I'm staying!" Jin and Yoongi looked at her puzzled not able to comprehend what she was talking about, "I'm not going back home." She announced.
"JiAh! What are saying, you can't...!" Yoongi spoke in a tired tone, his eyes still red and swollen.
JiAh held Yoongi's face, looking into his eyes, "I can't leave you here all alone after everything that happened to you because of me," she sobbed, "we'll run away from this kingdom, you and me, and we'll start a new life. Lets live together Yoongi-ah! Lets stay with each other forever."
"We can't do that JiAh!" Yoongi pulled her hand away from his face. JiAh felt hurt hearing those words. It took her too much strength to make up her mind and Yoongi's words were weakening her determination.
"JiAh!" JiAh turned to look at Jin, who kept a hand on her shoulder, his eyes were soft and empathetic, "If you didn't reach your world when the portal opens, your family will realize that you are missing and they'd never be able to find you. Do you think they can bear the pain of losing you forever?"
Hot tears roll down her eyes but she sniffed them back, wiping her wet cheeks, "They'll get over it. I didn't stayed with them anyways. My parents still have each other but Yoongi...! He's all alone and I can't leave him that way."
"JiAh!" Yoongi held JiAh's hand, making her look at him. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine." He tried to control his emotions, holding back the cracking of his voice, "What I did was my duty. You should fulfil your duty as well. Go back to your family and friends and fulfil your role as Kang JiAh in the world where you exist."
"But...!" She fell on her knee, breaking into tears again, "but...I don't want to go. Please Yoongi" She looked at him with pleading eyes, tears rolling down from the corners, "please....lets face the consequences of our mistakes together."
Yoongi kneeled down, holding her in his arms. She tugged into him, crying her eyes out in his chest. "What if we leave together?" He spoke almost in an inaudible voice.
JiAh felt stunned hearing that from him. Even Jin was stupified, not able to believe what he heard.
"What?!" JiAh exclaimed.
"If you want...I can come with you to your world." Yoongi gave a sad smile to her, gently stroking her cheeks with his thumb, "Its not like there's anything left for me in this world."
