"This isn't going to be easy." Jin remarked with concern lines visible on his face. "Guards are everywhere in the palace. Not to mention, you are not the General of the army anymore and you're forbidden to enter the palace. You'll be taken into custody if they saw you. Don't act impulsively."

He looked at the other male sitting opposite of the oak table. A flickering flame of the oil lamp was the only source of light present in the dark room. Although the moon was in its full bliss, shining ravishingly upon the roofs of various houses of the town, yet the room was looking surprisingly gloomy.

"I'm not acting impulsively. I just do not wish to waste anymore time." Yoongi spoke in a low voice. He intently studied the map of the palace, watching out every entrance and exits. Being the General of the Army and serving the palace turned out to be an advantage for him. He knew which route of the palace was least protected and he had the chance of slipping through their defences without being detected by the royal guards.

"This is going to be treason Yoongi-ah!" Jin kept a hand on Yoongi's shoulder making the man stop his race of conceptualization. The running thought inside his head were already messing up with his mind making him frustrated every passing second. "Hoseok is not very happy by your last encounter with him and lets just say he won't be showering you with flowers if he found you sneaking inside the palace."

"Hyung!" Yoongi turned his gaze towards the older. Jin was taken aback. Yoongi didn't spoke further but the look in his eyes said more than his words could ever speak. There were no tears in his eyes, not even a drop. But Jin felt like a tsunami had erupted in the two pupil of his with the waves dangerously colliding the rocks of his patience. Jin's eyes softened as he felt the depth of desperation that was breaking Yoongi apart. He knew Yoongi liked JiAh, but he never imagined that he'll be willing to sacrifice his own dignity and his own life just for the sake of protecting her.

"Yoongi-ah!" This time Jin's voice wasn't cocky at all, instead it came out to be calm and caring. "Why do you wish to put everything on the line to protect her? "
Yoongi just stood there for a while before a gloomy smile curved on his lips, "Well! Because I want to." He stood up walking towards the window to look at the moon casting silver light on his pale skin.

"Hyung?"

"Hmm?"

"Isn't it nice to have someone you want to die for." Yoongi glanced at Jin, his eyes sparkling in the moon light.

Jin held his gaze but didn't replied. He knew it wasn't a question. Yoongi was sincere. He knew that the consequences could be harsh but still he was ready to put his life on the line.

For a moment there was a complete silence. No one spoke anything, just letting their thoughts wander in different but distant directions. The hooting of the owl filled the dead quiet room with not other sound to be heard in the vicinity.

After several minutes passed when no one spoke, finally Jin broke the insufferable silence. He looked at the latter, who still stood in deep thoughts, his back facing him and eyes looking out of the window, searching hidden answers in the night sky.

"Did you tell your great plan to your mother?" He questioned.

Yoongi turned to look at the elder. Jin raised a questioning eyebrow towards him but he just didn't knew what to say. He opened his mouth contemplating the words to speak but snapped it shut as nothing came out.

He knew his mother was keen for him to stand for justice but what he was going to do was pure treason. Going against the crown itself. He wasn't sure she was going to support his decision. Either way he has to fight for JiAh even if it means going against the king, going against his kingdom or going against the whole world. He wasn't sure if he should tell his mother about his secret manoeuver.
"I- I....!" He stuttered.
