"I love you, JiAh!"
"NoooOoo!!!" A loud scream made everyone shocked. People came running towards the source of distress.
"What happened? Is everything okay?" Mr Nam questioned the students gathered around in a circle. He moved the students aside, making way towards the center. His eyes widened looking at the withering form of one of his student. "JiAh! What happened? Are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere." He asked with concern.
To his reply JiAh only kept wailing. Her body shivering dramatically, as the tears just won't stop. "HELP ME SOMEONE. HE'S GONE. HE'S DEAD. PLEASE SOMEONE SAVE HIM!!!" her bawling pierced everyone's ears, their heart thumping, watching her as she broke down.
"JiAh, what happened!" Chi Sun came running, wrapping her jacket around JiAh. She held her best friend tightly while the latter grabber her and cried her eyes out. She didn't had any idea what made her like this but her heart ached looking at JiAh's condition.
"Is there some sort of drama going on?" Chi Sun glared at the people encircling them, "if not...then buzz off!" She threatened. Everyone started moving away from the scene. Some of them throwing sarcastic remarks while the other still looking at JiAh with concern as they walked away.
"He's gone Chi Sun-ah! He's dead. He saved me but couldn't make it himself." JiAh wept in her best friend's arms, uncontrollable tears falling down her face. Slowly her voice became weak. Her head felt light and dizzy.
"Who's gone?" Chi Sun asked, supporting JiAh in her arms. She kept a hand on her face, wiping away her tears.
"My knight!" JiAh whispered.
Hot tears rolled down her eyes when Yoongi's smiling face appeared in front of her eyes. She smiled back at him before everything became blank and she collapsed in Chi Sun's arms.

A/N: So this officially marks the end of the novel. Many people must have already expected Yoongi to go such heights in order to save his love while many must have been bewildered by the ending.
Honestly, thats how love is. It has no bounds and it sees no logics. It just happens and when it happens, nothing seems logical anymore. You just want to protect that person even if it costs your life.
In the last chapter I introduced almost all characters that were mentioned in my book because I wanted to give them proper closure. So I hope you don't feel like it was abrupt to mention them all.
To all the people who shipped Yoongi-JiAh, please don't kill me 🙏.
And don't worry, I am not cruel to end my book while leaving you guys hanging. I'll give our couple a proper closure too.

Two years!
Its been two years since I came back from the portal, but look at me, still standing in this wrecked palace in hope that some day a faint golden light will appear and I'll be able to go back.
Every month its like a routine to visit this place. For what reason? I don't know. Maybe I still feel that he'll come back for me.
Pathetic! Just pathetic! Dead don't come back. Only if I could accept that, maybe my pain would subside.
Its only after a month of coming back that I noticed the stump of a huge cherry blossom half a mile away from the palace. Exactly where we buried Yoon Wu. People say that its the oldest cherry blossom known to exist. But whenever I look at it, it reminds me of that tiny bud that we planted.
