Now I know you're all curious about Shelly and how much she knows about the island.

I would personally say that she is mostly an expert in about 70% of the wildlife that inhabits this island.

She also decided to aid me in helping me find my way home, and it turns out that there was something that she had made friends with and thought that he could actually help us.

I was surprised and ultimately a little nervous at start, but I won't say who "Larry" is before I reveal what he is when come across him in my story. Why?

Simple. No spoilers

The next morning, I could hear rain pelting the ground outside the cave and decided that now that it was morning, it was time that I should try finding a possible way to get back home when the rain blows over.

Shelly also woke up around the same time as me and led me over to another section of the cave. It turned out to lead to a huge waterfall except I found it bizarre that the water itself was a strange light purple color.

"Don't worry, it's not poisonous, it's actually really really sweet." Said Shelly. I was obviously hesitant at first to drink it as I knew it wasn't poisonous to Shelly, but what about me?

I feel like I spent a few minutes just talking to myself trying to convince myself that this purple water is actually safe. But after a little while, I felt my head get dunked into the water by Shelly as the liquid filled both my nostrils and my mouth.

I quickly lifted my head out of the water. "What was that for!?" I asked. "Just to get you to try it, but wasn't it nice though?" Asked Shelly, trying to be as innocent as possible, but I could see her mischievous personality right through that child-like mask of hers.

"Well, I'll say it was nice, but I feel like you have different taste buds than me." I said. "Well, that's fine, but I'm glad you like it." Said Shelly. "But what is that stuff anyways?" I asked.

"It's what I like to call Sweet Rain and the waterfall itself, Sweet Waterfall." Said Shelly. I honestly couldn't blame her on that.

"Ok so about you wanting to find a way to go back home, I know someone who can help us." Said Shelly. "Who?" I asked. "I like to call him Larry, we've been through a good amount of small little adventures together." Said Shelly.

"When are we gonna go meet Larry?" I asked. "Right now." Said Shelly as she ran off to the entrance of the main cave. "Hey wait up!" I yelled as I snatched by backpack and continued to chase after her. But Shelly just kept running without stopping and eventually made it out to the forest. "Come on slow poke, keep it up!" She said while running through the clearing.

It was obviously difficult for me to catch up to her as I figured that Shelly knew the layout of this part of the forest like the back of her hand.

Eventually, I had followed her to a small rocky hill which forced me to climb it alongside her. It did take some time and some difficulties to reach the top, but it wasn't impossible to scale.

"So what are we waiting for now?" I asked. "This is where Larry likes to go most of the time so he should appear around here soon." Said Shelly.

All of a sudden, I could hear the sound of wings flapping around in the air. I looked up to see a large gray beast soaring through the sky and eventually perching down right next to Shelly and I. The beast seemed to resemble a dragon.

"Hey Larry, how are you doing?" Asked Shelly. The beast then let its head down and licked Shelly's face with its tongue. "Anyways, Evan here and I need your help, we're about to go on a mission to find the Island's Heart." Said Shelly.

Larry then gently lied down on his belly and allowed Shelly to climb onto his back. Larry snarled at me shortly after I attempted to approach him. "Don't worry Larry, he's the one we're going to find the heart for." Said Shelly.

Larry then stopped being aggressive towards me and allowed me to climb on his back with Shelly.

"So, this is Larry? And what's this heart that you're talking about?" I asked. "Well, I could explain it a little later, but for now, I highly recommend holding on." She said. Larry then began flapping his wings and we were soon enough in the air. I didn't actually have a good grip and I ended up falling from Larry's back and was plummeting straight towards the ground.

However, I was grabbed in midair by one of Larry's talons. "Yeah, I told you." said Shelly while gripping my backpack and preventing it from going overboard just like I did.

As I hung from the air, I simply couldn't stop and not admire the view, even though I was completely turned upside down at the moment.
