I know some of you are curious about Shelly and how many others there are like her. (just without her powers as The Guardian of the Island's Heart)
And at the time of me first meeting her, I was convinced that there were a couple other like her or she was just an orphan that could also be similarly called a wild child as she pretty much was.
But as for those that are like her that can walk, speak English, and are a lot like humans. There are way more than I thought.
There's also one more thing I'd like to get straight with you, I actually wasn't the only person there since there was actually two other people that were here the same time as me.
I would end up finding both of those things as Shelly, Larry and I would eventually wind up getting ourselves into quite a predicament.

"I must say, Doritos are certainly one of a kind." Said Shelly as she munched down on a Dorito chip. "Well, where I live, there are a whole lot of other kinds of chips. So this kind of food is very common in my home. Anyways, the only problem is what we'll do if we run out of food and water." I said. It was obvious that even if we ration a single bag a day, we wouldn't even have enough to sustain ourselves for the remainder of the week.
"I don't think we have to worry about that because there's hundreds of safe food sources I know of." Said Shelly. "Well, of course you would know that, since you're the Guardian of your Mother aka the heart of the island." I said.
"Well, my mother hasn't taught me everything about the island, just what she says I need to know about at this age." She said. I decided to let her go on that matter since it was getting quite late. But I also had one more question for her that was related to another matter.
"How did you and Larry meet?" I asked as I gesture over to Larry who had already dozed off. "It's a bit of a story, but I suppose I could summarize it to you." Said Shelly.
"It was a day that my mother left me on my own, it was a very rainy day and I encountered Larry lying down with a gaping hole in one of his wings. I used my magic to heal him and he was as good as new. He also visited me when I was with my mom the next day, and she was very acceptive of him. As for his name, we couldn't understand one another, so I decided to name him whatever I wanted to." She explained.
While Shelly was sharing her story about Larry, I was also thinking about her "mother" and this supposed magic that she had. I wanted to ask Shelly about it as well, but before I could even say the question, Shelly was already fast asleep, forcing me to leave it until tomorrow.
I suppose right after I followed suit, that was when we were captured.

It must've been at least a few hours later before I woke up, and what I saw didn't seem like a friendly group of people. I couldn't see anything since my eyes were covered up by a blindfold of some kind. I also felt like I was being hung upside down in addition to the blindfold over my eyes and what I felt and made out that my arms and legs were wrapped in some extremely sticky and thick substance.
"Evan where are you?" Asked Shelly. Her voice indicated that we weren't too far from each other. "I'm right here! But I can't see you." I said. "Do you have a plan on how to get out of this stuff?" I asked. "I'm thinking of one. Just give me a little bit of time." She said.
"Don't even bother. Who are you and where did you come from?" Asked an intimidating deep voice. The deep voice was what cut me off guard. But Shelly panicked and interrupted me before I could give an answer. "Why are we tied up?" Asked Shelly. "Quiet you! You aren't the one I'm asking my question to. Now boy, answer my question, What are you and Where did you come from?" The deep voice answered again.
