"HA! NOBODY WILL EVEN WANT TO ADOPT A DUMB WEAKLING LIKE YOU!" Shouted a bully from atop the stairs. "Ha! Good one Luke!" Yelled his cronie. And afterwards, the two bullies left their victim at the bottom of the stairs sobbing in a pool of cleaning equipment.

The victim was a 10 year old girl named Sophie Watson. She had been through many tough times in recent years, first, her parents had died in a horrific car accident when she was only 6 years old. And since she had no other family to take her in as they were either dead, or they simply didn't even care about her, she had spent the next 4 miserable years of her life at an orphanage. Although to her, it was worse than hell itself. She was constantly picked on my bullies often leaving her with scars that were still there, often not tended to when the caretakers were so busy, was given some of the more harsher cores on most occasions, and was overall living in a shabby building, which was evident by her ragged clothing, and it also needed a whole lot of renovation all the time.

And Sophie had had enough of it all, and tonight was the night that she would leave for good. After a while, she finished her chore of cleaning the stairs and headed up to her tiny room where she had already packed up her clothes, food, and a few water bottles. She also hid it underneath her bed when one of the caretakers showed up to quickly check on her before leaving. And despite that most caretakers almost never said anything harsh to her, she still wouldn't miss the orphanage.

It was around 10 PM when she grabbed her pack and climbed out the window and managed to get down and onto the ground. She then got up and ran as fast and as far away from the orphanage as she could. And eventually, she had made it deep into the forest where she realized, she might have messed up.

Sophie was lost without any sign of nearby civilization. And she could now hear the sound of a nearby coyote.

Now Sophie had been told tales from some employees at the orphanage that those who wander into the forest would be taken away by predators. There was no doubt in her mind that the story was true, but Sophie didn't think about where to go when she would escape from the orphanage.

And so, Sophie just took off running as she had no idea what to do when encountering such an animal. But she could hear it chasing her and so she looked back and saw it on her tail coming right towards her, but there was something else right in front of her on the ground which she didn't see. And before Sophie knew it, she was falling through a tunnel with strange multicolor auras all around her.

Soon enough, everything went black.

When Sophie snapped back into reality and regained consciousness, she realized she was in a far more different location than when she once was. She felt warmer and could feel someone's arm on her shoulder meaning that someone was nearby and Sophie could also him trying to ask her to wake up if she were alive.

And that was when Sophie jolted awake and saw the person standing next to her was a teenager roughly at the age of 17 and looked to be in a similar condition compared to her. "Are you alright? How'd you get here?" He asked.

"I'm fine, but I'm not sure I just maybe ran into a portal. My name's Sophie." Said Sophie. "Well, I'm Tommy, it's nice to meet you." Said the teenager.

Over the course of the night, Tommy and Sophie would team together to try and find shelter for the night, but they were attacked and captured by unknown creatures that were well known as the Gray Nahele.

However, it wouldn't end up turning out horrible as there was another human there, a 12 year old named Evan who was also with two other creatures in dousing a dragon like creature called Larry and an intelligent, yet friendly hybrid creature named Shelly. Now, the four would be allowed to stay via permission of the alpha of the village, Kai, and his mate, Reshmina, as long as they would work in their ranks and contribute to the tribe.
