A Different Island

10 Years Ago........

In the dark night sky, a small little wolf pup was trying to look for cover as the lighting strikes above her were getting louder and louder.

She was only a pup that was all alone with no pack to comfort her on this dark, cold night. The little wolf was starting to lose hope but it thankfully found a little cave that was quite large.

The little pup moved ever so slightly around its newfound shelter for the night, only to wind up stepping on a small stone that upon making contact with the pup's paw, began to glow. The glow was so bright that it began to light up the entire cave.

Suddenly, out from the darkness of the shadows of the cave, appeared the silhouette of a very human like entity which resembled that of a young woman. She glowed white with the stone and her mouth was smiling down at the little pup and she exhaled white dust out from her mouth which formed into a cloud.

The curious pup ended up inhaling the cloud of white dust, and when she did so, her body began to change drastically.

First, her tail grew longer and the end of said tail split apart only to have webbing seal the tail back together. Then, the wolf began feeling her body stretching out and becoming bigger before her torso reaching the small size of a human's.

Her front legs then started to grow a little shorter as her front paws became more human-like. Her head would also undergo most of the same change as it began to grow bigger.

The pup was scared of these changes and was barking loudly, but the spirit gently wrapped her arms around the changing canine and cradled it as if it were her child. The wolf pup's body would also change to become more bipedal.

Her fur would then continue to alter as its color began changing from simply just gray and white, to many other colors such as light green, yellow, pink, dark blue, and even maroon. The last of the changes came with the eyes where they became entirely black and she grew blue pupils which were a lighter shade than her fur.

The now fully transformed pup then looked up at the spirit before falling asleep in her arms. The spirit just smiled dearly at the changed wolf. "Good night my little Shelly." Said the spirit, officially claiming the newfound Shelly as her new daughter.
