It has been two weeks since my encounter with the boss and since then I haven't crossed his path. I have gotten my cheque and right now I'm on the phone with my mama,
"Mija, I hope you take very good care of yourself. Please eat and don't stress yourself too much" she says in a worried tone.
"Mama, please I'm taking good care of my self. Don't worry too much. Plus i have sent the money to Papa's account so you can finally send Leo to school" I tell her
"Yes my baby, you don't know how happy he is. I'm so sorry for being a bad mom, this should've been me working to take care of you not the other way round" she says in sobs
" Oh mama, I'm doing this for the family. You know I don't want you to stress out much" I tell her, I hate it when she cries.

As I was talking to her and my other family members, Miss Mendes comes in to the room with a worried face.
"Mama,I'll call you back. Love you" I say and ended the call.

" Miss Mendes what is wrong?" I ask her
"I know we aren't friends but I need someone to confide in" I says in a low tone,
" Ok, I'm a great listener" I say and shifted on my bed to make a way for her to sit down on my bed.

" I'm pregnant and I don't know what to do"she says and right at the moment she breaks down. Wow, I have never seen her being an emotional person before.

"Why are you crying, this is good news"I ask confused about this whole situation.
"I Know it is silly but I'm not sure I can be a mom. My parents abandoned me when I was a little girl and my aunt raised me, she also didn't give two shits about me. I practically raised myself. When I was 14 I was raped by my uncle's best friend, I tried to report but nobody believed me and he threatened to kill me if I do , I had to run . I lived with my best friend's mom for a while till I had the chance to flee from my home land and I came to the States. I was a minor when I came here, I also pretend to be 18 untill I met Nikolas and his family. He was in college by then, he gave me Job and helped me get my papers and green card. If it wasn't for him I don't where I'd be. I was also diagnosed with PSTD when I lost my baby"
She says full on sob, I was so surprised, I didn't want to pry, so I kept quiet

" Yes Kehlani I know you guys weren't 18 when you arrived. I just wanted you guys to have the opportunity for a better life like I did. I won't tell anyone Amelia"

"Ho....how did you get to know" I ask still dumbfounded
" I Know people and I also happened to hear your sister call you Amelia once in the kitchen. You guys aren't sisters right"
" No we are best friends, please Miss Mendes I'm sorry for not telling you the truth. We really need the money" I say worriedly,
"Don't worry , your secret is safe with me" she gives me sad smile.
"What does Mr. Rizzo thinks about it?" I ask changing the subject.
" I don't know. I'm going to divorce him anyway. He doesn't love me, I know he has been cheating with his secretary" she says with a shrug. Well I'm not surprised,

"Don't you love him?" I ask and she burst out into a fit of laughter,
"Oh Amelia, you are so young, no I don't love him. I'm in love with someone else" she says the last part dreamily.
" Who is it if I may ask"
" You know, Grey" she says sheepishly
" I knew it, I knew you liked him because of the way he has been looking at you" I shout excitedly,
" Hey, hey, calm down. I love him okay and he is willing to take care of the pregnancy tho he isn't the father. He told me that yesterday" she says with a smile

"Wait I thought we aren't allowed to date co workers"
" But Grey isn't a worker, he is actually Nikolas's cousin. Well distant cousins" she says the smile still on her face.

"I'm so happy for. I never seen you smile like this before."
" Yh. By the way where is your friend. Haven't seen her all day"
" She went out with her new catch" I tell and she laughs, she stands up and make her way to the door,
" Be careful with her. You can call me Isabella. It was great talking to you, we should do it again sometime. We could be sisters" she says with a smile and she leaves.
