The dinner went better than I expected, I have never seen Franco this happy before. He looks at his dad like he is a god. Suddenly he doesn't want to be a doctor anymore,he wants to be a business man like his dad and have his own jet.

I let out a sigh before pouring the wine in to the glass Infront of me. I wait for Nik to finish with the kids before I can go to bed. I want him to leave.

The kids didn't want to go especially Max who didn't want to leave my side for a minute.

So Nik contributed to help put them to sleep. Franco's bed is big enough for him Max, and Chleo can sleep in Franco's baby court which I still kept.

I'm still sipping my wine when I hear footsteps coming down. I didn't bother to look because I knew who it was.

He comes and stand beside me , staring holes into my head.

"They are all asleep now."he says and I nod,

"Thank you for everything you did today. I appreciate it so much" he says and I put my glass before turning to him.

"I didn't do it for you, Nikolas, I did it for my son and Max because I owe it to them. I don't give a fuck about you" I say and he looks hurt,he deserves it.

"Amelia I don't know what to do to make you know that I'm sorry.." I cut him off

"Nothing, nothing you do will make me forgive you" I hiss,tears threatening to spill

"I'm so sorry Amelia,I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry I didn't believe you,I'm sorry I didn't protect you. I was at bad place at the time,I was confused okay" he replies and I chuckle bitterly.

"Really Nik, bad place. Did you know what I went through when you were always away in her arms. You made me look like a fool loving you. Or maybe I am,I am a fool for trusting you with my heart,I am stupid for believing in you thinking you'd change but fuck was I so wrong. I will never repeat that mistake again"I spat at him with the tears finally free

"Amelia I'm sorry,I'm trying here. I love you and I'm going to anything to fix that. I'm so sorry for doing this to you, for making your life miserable,but I promise you just give one chance and I'll prove that okay, please Amy"he pleads.

I laughed bitterly, then throw the glass against the wall beside him,he flinches and looks at me like I'm a psychopath.

" See the glass over there, that is what I became after trusting you. Do you think I'll do that again. You see Nik when trust is broken it can never fixed, like the glass over there. Even if you glue them back together it won't look the same. It will leave scars forever. So tell me Nikolas how do you expect me to trust you" I say bitterly

"I don't know what else to say for you to believe me."he replies desperately

"You haven't said anything Nik. Did you believe me when I asked you to.? No you didn't,you allowed them to humiliate me and send me away. Your word could have saved me Nik but you decide not to believe me and I have done same"I say pointing a finger at him before drinking directly from the wine bottle.

"I love you Amelia and I'm going to fix us no matter what"he replies

"Love?Love. The word I desperately wanted to hear from your lips years ago. The word that cost me everything,I don't want to hear it. Do you know my dad died from heart attack hearing his only daughter stole from a rich family and was being deported. My family,my dignity was humiliated Infront of international news. My father died that day because of you and your family. That is not even all,my mother lost everything,we had to the only thing my dad left us in order to survive"I say and bitterly chuckled

"I know Amelia,if I had the chance to go back and change things,I would,I would. I want to make things right,I want you to forgive me,to give me a chance again"he pleads and suddenly my hands met with his cheeks.

"Never ask me to believe you again. Look at what caused me because I believed you. I lost my daughter because of you. I lost my baby girl"I yell at him,

For a moment he looks like all the soul in his body has left. He stumbles back alittle and holds the drink counter for support. His eyes went wide as swallows the information.

"What...wh.. what do you mean by lost your daughter!"he stutters

"I was pregnant with two kids, twins,a boy and a girl. I was in a depressed state during the time and over working myself because I needed to earn money for my children. But when my babies were born,my beautiful baby girl wasn't okay,she was sick because I didn't have proper nutrition , I didn't take good care of myself. She had to stay in the hospital for a year and after fighting for so long she left this cruel world two weeks after her 1st birthday. So tell me are you worth forgiving" I reply

"My little girl died and I wasn't there for her. I didn't get the chance to be there for her"he whispers to himself.

"Yh, Nikolas, your word could have saved her but no ,you didn't even bother looking for us because you were busy playing dad your two lovely children whiles mine suffers,you don't deserve to be a father for Franco" I spat at him.

"I'm sorry Amelia,God, I don't know what else to do. You have every right to hate me. I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most. I'm not even worth of your forgiveness or Franco's love." he says going on his knees as tears fall from his eyes rapidly.

I never thought I would see him cry, I am supposed to be happy seeing him in pain but I'm not. I also couldn't control my tears either.

I walk to him and also kneel Infront of him,

"You know, every year as I celebrate my son's birthday,I see him sad because he was longing for his father,I always make a gift in your name for him, so he wouldn't feel fatherless, we always visit his sister every morning and sometimes I hear him promising her he would bring dada back one day. I hate you Nikolas, for breaking me and hurting my daughter and son" I say and finally breakdown in his arms and he continues to whisper how sorry he was .

I needed this,I suddenly feel relief for letting out my anger.
