Nik just texted me that they are on their way home. I didn't tell him about Isabella, who is now asleep with her daughter on the couch. Something weird is going on.

Sixteen minutes has pass and I'm done with dinner. I hear the door open and I rush to see Nik

"Hello baby"I say and kiss me slowly

"Hello your son is here mommy" Max says with a pout.

"Mummy??"I hear someone say behind me, I turn around to see Isabella fully awake staring at us.

"Bella, what are you doing here?"Nik asks surprise like I was not long ago.

"Ermmm.... can I speak to you privately"she says nervously avoiding eye contact. Nik looks at me and then back to Isa.

"Yh let's go to my office"Nik says and pecks my forehead. I don't know what is going on but I hate it when Nik keeps secrets from me.

"Mummy I'm hungry"I hear Max whisper shyly into my ears.

"Okay baby sit down, lemme bring you some pasta, okay" I tell him and he nods.

When I came back I saw Isabella's daughter finally awake talking to Max. I mean whispering amongst themselves.

"Mummy, Esperanza says she wants to eat Ice cream" Max says. So that is her name, Esperanza.

" You both can have ice cream after dinner then you and bath. Okay"
"Yes mummy" Max says with a big smile on his face.

I wonder what is going on in the office.

After what seems like forever,they both finally came out with Isa wiping her tears away. The children were watching cartoons so they were distracted.

"Ermmm.... I prepared the guest room for you,since it was getting late I didn't know whether you'll be leaving"I tell her when I approach were they were standing.

"Thank you baby, Isabella and Esperanza will be staying for a while, and can I talk to you alone in the bed room"Nik says and I follow him into the room.

Once we reached there I ask what was on my mind,

"What happened to her Nik?"

"You know I can't tell you, unless she tells you herself. I just want you to be careful when you are alone. Please don't let anyone enter this place without my notice"he says and I'm to ask more questions but he stops me.

"Will you please do it without complaining"he says and I nod with a sigh.
He comes to hug me and I placed my head on his chest.

"I love you"I whisper and he only smiles and gives me a kiss on my lips. That wasn't what I was expecting but he didn't freak out so I'm good. I know he isn't ready to say it yet but I'm ready to wait.

The next morning Nik left early for an emergency meeting at the office, so I had time to talk to Isabella. I went to the bathroom, did my business, brush my teeth and took a shower. I wore a comfortable clothe today because I got nothing to do.

I went downstairs to the kitchen, once I got there I saw Isabella sitting there deep in thought.

"Hey"I say breaking her out of the trance.

"Hey"she whispers, I go to bring a pan to make pancakes but Isabella stops me.

"I already made breakfast"she whispers and I give her a small smile. She stands up and brings me some fruit and pancakes with syrup.
