"Come on baby, let's go outside your party is about to start" I whisper to my son who has his head on my shoulders
"Okay mummy. Are my friends here?"he asks
"Yes,all your class mates are here"I say with a smile before kissing his head.
Kathy and I stand up holding our kid's hand ready to leave to the back yard when my door bell rings.
"Are you expecting anybody else"Kathy asks
"No.. Not really"I ask and walk to the door.
I open only to see Brittany and her kids holding some presents in her hands.
"Surprise!!!" She shouts with a huge smile and I hug her.
"Oh Brittany I thought you couldn't make it. And you look huge girl"I say when I pull away from her.
"Yh....but I'm here now.What can I say these babies keep me all night. Now where is my birthday boy." she says and I hear tiny feet behind me.
"I'm here Auntie Bree"Franco says with a huge grin on his cute face. His curls are falling off his face, he needs a hair cut.
"Happy birthday sweety"Brittany says and gives him the gift in her hands.
"Come in the party is about to start. Crystal and Jake can put their presents on the table"I say and Franco pulls Jake inside , Crystal followed.
Justin said he'll be running late since their flight was delayed an hour. I'm happy my son gets to celebrate his birthday around the people he loves and support. He doesn't need his father I'll make sure of it. I'm just sad my father and my princess aren't alive to celebrate it with him ,but I know they are at a better place. .................................
Nik's P.O.V
Yesterday I had a call from secretary telling me that there is an impromptu meeting at Grove Kindergarten School. Something about career day and donations and I have to be there since I'm a business man and kids will want to look up to me in the future.
Guess where the school is, okay I'll tell you freaking Netherlands. I'll have to leave my kids alone since parents are on vacation with Esperanza and move across the globe in less than one day.
To my dismay I have to take care of some impending issues at the company there, so I'll stay like a week ,so I have no other choice than to bring the kids along and their nanny.
Sometimes I really hate this job. ............................ We arrived yesterday in Netherlands and went to my penthouse in Amsterdam. I love the city but unfortunately I couldn't stay here.
Right now I'm heading to Grove Kindergarten for the meeting and talk.
After a few minutes I arrived , a teacher came to meet me and I followed her inside trying not to laugh at her attempt to flirt.
