Chapter 22 - Hairstyles

Is that really me?

I don't look like the Jasmine I know, the girl sitting across from me is so much prettier.

Claire cut my hair, so it was a pixie cut, which elongates my neck, and defines my jaw line.

"OMG CLAIRE, you're so good" I praise

"I like to think that myself" she says patting herself on the back

I smile

"Could I go and see where my friends are?" I ask

"Yes, but make sure you come back here in ten minutes, I'll have to do your make-up and find a good outfit for you"

I nod, and go to find my friends.

I quickly find Indra.

Her hair didn't change much, the length just shortened and her hair has some more volume now.

"Is that you Jasmine?" she asks

I laugh and nod

"Wow, that was a total 180 in the hair department, you don't even look like the same person"

I had to agree with her, before my hair was wavy and curly and straight, let's just say it was confusing. But, now when I look at myself in the mirror once more I look fierce and confident.

"Well, I like you hairstyle" I compliment

"Well, it didn't change a lot. But they didn't permanently straighten it, so I don't have to worry about straightening it for the next year or so"

"That's great" I say "Do you want to find the others" I ask

She nods, and we go to find our friends

Next we find Alexis, her stylist changed her hair colour so now it was a light brown.

I really complimented her skin tone and eyes.

She was just as shocked as Indra when she first saw me.

We walk around and see that Preet and Kayla were seated beside each other.

I was shocked at what I saw.

Preet's hair was done in ombre, meaning the ends were blonde, but when I looked at Kayla's hair I was surprised.

She had the same exact colour combination as Preet but the ends of her hair were a brownish black.

The hairstyles suited both of them.

"Wow, who is that?" Kayla asks, pointing at me

"Is that Jasmine?" Preet questions.

I nod and smile.

I turn my attention back to Kayla who still has a shocked expression of her face.

"As in Jasmine my BFF"

"Yes, Kayla it's me. Do you like my new hairstyle"

"I don't know, but it's really different" she says

"Don't listen to her Jasmine, you look great" Preet exclaims

I smile.

We start talking about random stuff, when I look around. Most of the girls got their haircuts already. A lot of them dyed their hair blonde, which I am not surprised by, because Quinn seems like a guy who digs blondes.

10 minutes quickly pass, and I have to go back to Claire.

"Are you ready for the make-up, Jasmine?" C asks excitedly

"Yep, all ready to get powdered up" I say sarcastically

C laughs and starts doing my make-up
