Recap - Jasmine and Kayla got selected to be on the show 'Who Will She Be', where Quinn, the school's jock, gets to choose his wife so he can be the CEO of his dad's company.
Chapter 8 - Quinn's Mansion
Quinn laughs at the question "That's a very good question, I'll be sure to answer that in about 6 months" No more question were asked after that, and th cameras just followed us into Quinn's house.
Oh no it's more like Quinn's Mansion, it's all white and the pathway that our bus went through is surrounded by colourful tulips.
It's like freaking huge, but that is understandable, because 200 girls will be residing here for the next month or so. I am not goint to lie, it's very intimidating, and I feel so out of my zone.
Kayla grabs my hand, sensing my inner worry and nods at me while smiling. She always know how to calm me down. "Welcome girls" we hear coming from up the stairs. The voice belonged to a petite blonde, who looks to be in her early 40's. She wearing a tight red dress that compliments her dress. She is really pretty, but I can clearly see that the smile she is wearing is only there because of the cameras.
"I see you have brought the 100 girls from your school Quinn." she smiles towards him "Yes Amy" "It's about time, come on girls let me take you to the living room, so we can talk about the living arrangements." she ushers us in a living room, but instad of couches, there are many chairs set up so we can sit down while we listen to her sweet fake voice.
"Say bye to the cameras girls, we won't be seeing them until next week" Everyone waves, and I do the same for the heck of it. "Ok, so the cameras are gone, now I will talking about where each of you will be living for hopefully the next 6 months. As Quinn might of told you, you are going to be living in pairs, each pair will get a maid who will help both of you in getting ready everyday. As for yours rooms you and your partner will put your names on this piece of paper" she shows us slips of paper "and you will put them in this bowl, then Quinn will choose slips. If your names is chosen then you can go up and choose a room. Do you all understand?" All the girls nod.
I stand up and go get a slip of paper and write Kayla and my name on it, and put it in the bowl where everyone put theirs. "Hope we get choosen first or something, I would love to have a room with a view" "That would be good, we could live in this place with a really good room for a month" "We might get lucky. We should make a game plan" Kayla suggets "Whenever he chooses our name, walk out of the room calmy, but when we get to the stairs sprint as fast as you can. We have an advantage over most of the girls on speed, because they're either wearing flip flops or heels, whereas both of us are wearing our keds." I smile, and we both agree on the same plan.
"Has everyone put their name in?" They are many 'Yes'es. "Now Quinn you get to do the honours", Quinn goes and stands by the bowl, he dramatically picks up a piece of paper and opens it." He is about to say whoever's names are on slips but Amy interreputs him "I forgot to mention, that you can only go in the rooms with blue stickers on the doors, because the red ones are for the international contestants. We didn't want all of you girls getting the rooms on the top floor. Understood?" Everyone nods. Then Quinn speaks up "And the lucky girls who got chosen first by the awesome Quinn Wilson are.........drum roll please........Jasmine and Kayla."
Maybe, Kayla and I were lucky, we quickly stand up smiling, and walk towards the door. When we turn we both nod, and run up the stairs, to the top floor. Let's just say I'm not in the best shape, but I still climb up all those stairs. From the outside it only looks like there are two floor, but we both find out that this house had 5 floor, 5 FREAKING FLOORS, I don't know why you can't see them from the front, but I guess it's because the 3 upper floors are small and are situated at the back of the house.
When we get to the top floor, me and Kayla start looking through every blue sticker room. "Do you like any?" I ask Kayla "No, but this room is amazing, to bad it has a pink sticker." I go into the room she was talking about and see that she was right. The room was perfect, all the decorations were mint green, white, and black. To top it all off, the view was amazing, you can clearly see the Seattle skyline. This was the only room on this floor with a clear view of the skyline.
"This room is perfect" I say "You know what" I quickly go to the door, and take off the pink sticker, it came off quite easily, and quickly changed it for a blue sticker on the room across from us. After understanding what I was doing Kayla started to laugh "You're the smartest person ever" she says laughing. Then we hear loud footsteps coming up the stair and we know that the other girls are looking for their rooms.
After choosing their rooms, the two girls come into our room, and both say "WOW, this is the best room" One girls I vaguely remember as Olivia says "You're really lucky Jasmine to have this room, we got the peach room two doors over" I nod "Yea I guess, but you're room has a pretty view too" I say, they shrug and leave.
Kayla and I close our door not wanting any other disturbance, and we start unpacking. I take out a picture of my family and put it on my bedside table. I look over at Kayla who is organizing the extensive wardrobe and I laugh. I quickly change into my pajamas "Kayla, where are the unicorn slippers" "Right there" She points to the bottom of her bed, and I see the slippers. I quickly put the on and call my parents".
After talking to my parents for about 15 minutes, I decide to hang up. And get ready for fall asleep.
"Night Kayla" I say
"Good night, get all the beauty sleep you can get Jasmine, the international girls are coming tommorow"
I groan before falling asleep
