The Elimination
I was right, the make up artist ran out of concealer so they had to DIY their own cause there wasn't enough time.
Looking around all the girls are dolled up to the fullest, including me.
It might be our last day here so we needed to go in a blast.
"Ready??" I ask my friends.
All of them nod not saying anything, I guess the nerves have been catching up to everyone.
"Now let's welcome all the girls!" we hear Xavier say as the door open. We were all lined up and I was in the middle in the right line with Kayla right beside me. Both of us hold hands as we walk towards the grand stage, supporting each other .
We weren't at our house anymore this was some outdoor spot near the city so that you could see the Space Needle at the back.
As I walk past Xavier he winks at me to which I stick my tongue out and make a disgusted face as he smirks.
Quinn is waiting for us in the middle of where all of us are supposed to stand. I am situated at the back of the crowd. I'm happy with this spot, away from all the cameras.
"Welcome back to the show...." Xavier continues, he keeps talking but I tune him out. I pretty much know what he is going to say, it's probably along the line of 'today is the day you've all been waiting for'.
In the middle of the speech I hear him say 'surprise event later on' and I turn to Alexis to ask her about this event.
"I'm not sure, but I heard something about fan interaction, when the producers were talking to each other about it" she answers
Fan interaction, that's cool, let's just hope it has nothing to do with me.
The program goes on and we just stand like statues smiling.
"It's finally time for the surprise event!! And today we will be having live fan interactions with your favourite contestants!" Xavier says.
Damn it, not to sound cocky or anything but I do read online articles and I seem to be always in the top 5 so I was dreading this moment.
Hannah's interaction is first and this girl and her just talk about her strategy and how she keeps her hair always so perfect, not my words but the other girls.
Four more girls have their interaction and I just get ready for what I will be going to say.
"I bet you're next" Indra tells me.
"Kind of don't want to do it" I say as an understatement.
"And last but not least let's have the fan interaction for....." I slowly move forward already waiting my name but don't hear it. Instead Xavier calls out Preet's name.
Preet goes up and does her interaction.
"Wait what??" Kayla comes up behind me.
"I for sure heard the producers say that the top 6 contestants got the fan interaction, and you Jasmine are always either number one or two online" Alexis says.
After the interaction ends all of us get lined up for the elimination process.
There are 20 of us right now and in 5 minutes there will only be 10.
The 6 people who had interactions' names were called first.
The seventh name was mine.
Then it was Alexis.
"The one to receive this rose is Julie" Quinn says.
My heart sinks, there was only one more space available and Kayla and Indra were not chosen.
"Lastly this rose goes to Maria" Quinn says.
I could see Quinn glancing my way, but no way in hell was I going to glance at him. I just kept my head down already feeling the tears well up in my eyes.
I resist the urge to cry and think it over. I ain't so bimbo I get it, people are supposed to get eliminated, but it still hurts. Not going to blame Quinn or anything it's part of the game
Next week 5 people were going to be out and after that it was the Finale.
After hearing and Kayla and Indra were out we all hug. There were tears but we got over it quickly saying we were going to meet again some day soon.
The 10 girls that were eliminated walk off screen and the remaining just stay and mingle for the outdo.
When the director yelled out "cut" I could see Quinn quickly approaching me.
"I know you're mad, but I had to eliminate them" he says guiltily.
Awwww he apologized
"No biggie it had to happen, I'm just sad that's it" I reply looking into his eyes.
"You're not mad" he asks.
I shake my head.
"Who are you and what have you done to my Jasmine" he says.
I laugh and actually think about his words. The normal me would have made a scene about how he eliminated my best friends, but right now Somehow understand why Quinn made this decision and how he had to.
What did happen to me?
"Shut the hell up" I say.
"And she's back" He smiles.
Quinn is whisked away by Hannah and her group and Xavier approaches me.
"Congrats!" he says opening his arms for a hug.
"You really want to get punched that badly" I say hitting his chest.
"But thank you!" I continue.
"Are you not salty" he says
"Why would I be??"
"You weren't part of the 6 that Quinn chose to do the interaction" he says.
"Huh" and then it sets it.
"Well now I'm salty" I say.
"Glad to be of assistance" he says smiling and walking away.
Xavier is the devil disguised as a very hot male, he needs to be stopped before he gains control of the world and destroys everything!
