Cam didn't come over at all last night so I decided I was going to go over to his place and end things. He had been acting off all week and quite honestly, I was beginning to feel guilty for letting Jeremy kiss me and not have to deal with consequences. After what Jeremy said last night, I had made up my mind. Cam doesn't know what he has when it comes to me and he certainly isn't going to treat me any better than he did before.
I pulled on some jeans and a tank and slipped into my flip flops and then grabbed my bag and left, making my way towards Cam's house. I turn the radio on, hoping to hear some motivational music. Instead, Avicii came on and I lost track of what was on my mind because I was too busy dancing in the car.
I turn the music down and pull into Cam's driveway. His car is parked just behind his garage door. I hop out and walk up to his door and knock a couple times. Nobody answers, so I open the door and walk in looking around for him. I thought about calling for him, but then thought better of it and decided to move straight up to his bedroom.
The closer I got, the more I heard loud moaning, and even laughter. I close my eyes and shake my head slightly but storm up the stairs and into Cam's bedroom. I stop in the doorway when I see Cam, thrusting into some petite blonde with an annoying moan. I narrow my eyes and glance over to see an empty beer bottle sitting on the dresser.
I grab it and throw it at the wall, watching it shatter into pieces and fall on the floor. The girl jumped away from Cam and he turned around to face me. "What the fuck are you doing?" He yelled and grabbed his shorts and quickly pulled them on.
I scoff. "Just what I came here to do. We are over, Cam. You're an idiot, have a nice life." I say and turn to walk away but he grabs my arm and slams me against the wall. I cry out in pain from my head hitting the structure and he stares at me.
"What the hell are you doing here? Don't ever show up at my place and tell me we are over." He grabbed my throat again and squeezed until I was choking. He let go, letting me fall to the floor.
After coughing a couple times, I stood up and looked at Cam then at the girl. "Get out while you still can." I say. She stares at me, the look of fright taking over. Cam growled and threw a punch, hitting me in the cheekbone and mouth. I cry out and stumble back. I stare up at him, fury written all over his face. "Or you will be next." I finish and then back away from Cam and rush out the door.
I get out to my car and instantly start panicking. I grab my phone from my purse and start dialing a number. I don't even pay attention to who I'm dialing just that I need to call someone.
The phone rings a few times then picks up. "Alexis, what's up? Did you hear back from your friend?"
I sigh and try to hold back a sob. "Jeremy, I need you to meet me for coffee."
"Is everything okay?"
"Just meet me at Gloria's." I said and hung up. I turned the engine over on the car and took off down the street to meet Jeremy.
When I got to the coffee shop, I searched for Jeremy's car but didn't see it at first. Not too much later after I arrived, his black BMW pulled into the parking lot. He started to walk towards the door to the shop so I honked my horn. He turned and noticed my car and made his way over to the driver's side.
I had my sun glasses on, but I still turned my face away slightly when I rolled down the window to speak with him. "Either get in or follow me. You're choice." I told him.
