~Mission Exodus~

"I still can't believe Bucky raised you. Do you know how many years I spent looking for your Daddy, and he was with you that whole time? No one else believes that you were with him for such a long time, but I definitely do..."

Ivory looked up at Steve eyes filled with confusion, and a hint of fear, not saying a word to the man, for a good chunk of time she just sat listening to Steve talk.

"It's okay, you can talk to me...I know you have words...I guess we did kind of meet on pretty scary terms." Steve says to himself thinking back to the last time Ivory had seen Steve.

"Your name is Ivory?"

"Yeah..." Ivory said giving a shy nod.

"You wanna know my name?" Steve asks, earning another nod from Ivory.

"My name is Steve..."

"Uh-Steve?"

"Yeah, I'm Steve...I promise I'm going to help you."

"Kay..." Ivory whispers looking back at the TV where she had seen Bucky.

"Daddy come? Daddy come?" Ivory asks Steve starting to cry again.

"Shh It's okay..." Steve whispered to the girl. "As long as I'm around, you will get to be back with your daddy, you understand?"

"Uh-yeah..." Ivory whispered back, hanging on tightly to Steve while she continued to watch her father on screen.

Little to Steve or anyone else's knowledge, the events about to take place was most likely going to delay the process...

"Tell me, Bucky...You've seen a great deal, haven't you?"

"I don't wanna talk about it..."

"You fear that if you open your mouth, the horrors might never stop..." Zemo says.

"...Don't worry. We only have to talk about one." Suddenly as Bucky and the Psychiatrist are sitting there, the lights begin to flicker, indicating the power was soon to go out.

"Come on, guys, get me eyes on Barnes!" Ross says as the power goes out.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y, get me a source on that outage." Tony says into the AI built into his glasses.

"Sub-level five, East Wing." Sharon says. Steve looks at Ivory who's eyes had been already welled up with tears. He knew she was going to start crying at any given moment.

"You stay right here...okay?" Steve says sitting Ivory down in a chair. The tears immediately began as soon as Steve put her down.

"N-No leave m-me!" Ivory cried holding her arms out for Steve.

"Shh, I'll be back, I'm going to help your dad okay?" Without another word Steve and Sam take off for the stairwell.

"No leave Steve..."

"What the hell is this? Where's Ivory?" Bucky says getting angrier by the minute.

"Why don't we discuss your home?" Zemo asks digging through his bag.

"Not the one in Romania, and certainly not Brooklyn. I mean...Your REAL HOME." Zemo says taking out the Book that contained all of Bucky's trigger phrases.

Bucky's heart began to race at seeing the horrible curse embedded in the infamous red notebook. The man opened up the book and began reading the trigger words.
