MALE NEWS ANCHOR:
"At a special United Nations conference... 117 countries have come together to ratify the Sokovia Accords."
~~~~~
"Excuse me, Ms. Romanoff?" Says a staff member of the UN.
"Yes?"
"These need your signature." Says the woman.
"Oh yeah...Thank you." Nat says signing her name.
"Thanks." The woman says before walking off with her clipboard. Seconds later, Nat is greeted by the one and only Prince T'Challa of Wakanda.
"I suppose neither of us is used to the spotlight." He says with a small smile.
"Oh, well, it's not always so flattering." She replied.
"You seem to be doing all right so far. Considering your last trip to Capitol Hill...I wouldn't think you'd be particularly comfortable in this company." He says.
"Well, I'm not." She says.
"...And that alone makes me glad you are here, Ms. Romanoff."
"Why? You don't approve of all this?" Natasha asks confused.
"The Accords, yes. The politics, not really. Two people in a room can get more done than a hundred..." he says.
"...Unless you need to move a piano." King T'Chaka says entering the scene. Both men addressed each other in their native language while Natasha stood and watched.
"Ms. Romanoff..." King T'Chaka says addressing Natasha.
"King T'Chaka...Please, allow me to apologise for what happened in Nigeria..."
"Thank you. Thank you for agreeing to all of this. I'm sad to hear that Captain Rogers will not be joining us today." He said.
"Yes, so am I." Natasha sighs.
(MAN ON SPEAKERS)
"If everyone could please be seated. This assembly is now in session."
"That is the future calling..." T'Challa says smiling at Natasha. "Such a pleasure."
"Thank you." T'Chaka says to Natasha as she heads off to find her seat.
"Kwindoda engayifuniyo idiplomacy, uyaphumelela kuyo. (For a man who disapproves of diplomacy, you're getting quite good at it.)" T'Chaka says smiling at his son.
"Ndiyavuya Bawo. (I'm happy, Father.)" T'Challa replies.
"Enkosi. (Thank you.)" T'Chaka says.
"Enkosi. (Thank you.)" T'Challa replied making sure to give his father his respects before heading off to his seat. It was then that it all began. King T'Chaka was giving his address right before Tragedy struck him...
"When stolen Wakandan vibranium was used to make a terrible weapon...we in Wakanda were forced to question our legacy." T'Chaka began.
"Those men and women killed in Nigeria...were part of a goodwill mission from a country too long in the shadows. We will not, however, let misfortune drive us back. We will fight to improve the world we wish to join. I am grateful to the Avengers for supporting this initiative."
While T'Chaka had been giving his address, T'Challa heard commotion from far away. When he looked below him he had seen and heard one of the bomb squad dogs barking and at that point he knew everyone in that room was in danger.
