Faye
He's doing it again. A-G-A-I-N. How am I supposed to do anything productive when he keeps bothering me all the time?
"Kaden...I need to go over this stuff before uncle Adrian comes," I groan tiredly when my touchy boyfriend wraps his arms around me, forcing me to bear his whole weight. And he's really heavy, though it's because of his muscles. It still doesn't change the fact that he's about to squish me into a pancake.
"You've been reading this for over an hour," he squeezes me tightly, nuzzling his face into my neck. He's like a puppy, I swear.
"Because I need to. I'm surprised you don't study. Actually, no I'm not, the girls are the same. They barely pay attention during class!" At least that's what I've heard from Veronica.
"That's because they have tutors at the hotel who go over the whole syllabus with them," Kaden shrugs lightly. "And you have uncle Adrian too, so why are you so worried?" Does he really not get it?
I give up. There's no way I can win with Kaden when it comes to arguing. He counters everything I say or kisses me silly so I no longer remember what we're arguing about. "Then what do you want to do?" I ask, closing the book and turning around in my chair to face him.
"Now we're talking," he smirks smugly then swiftly plucks me out of my comfortable chair and carries me to the bed. "I have something to show you."
"Show me?" Then why did you put me on the bed?
"Kalra gave this to mom and asked her to relay it to you," he shows a memory card then puts it in the slot on the side of the TV. I don't miss the vintage DVD player on the shelf that stands beside the old game console and a bunch of really old CDs. Those things were popular decades ago, so I'm wondering why he's collecting them.
"What is it?"
"I don't know, I haven't watched it yet," he smiles then selects the correct file and joins me on the bed. Shortly we're met by the smiling face of Leanne as she greets us happily.
"Hello there! We are here, at the storage annex of our school, or as we like to call it - a Retribution Room. We have a special guest today!" she turns to none other than Dorian, who lies on the ground, tied up so tightly that his arms and legs have gone purple. "Say hi, little shit. Faye and Kaden are watching you."
"You fucking bitch, you have no idea who you're messing with," Dorian sneers stupidly, clearly thinking the girls in front of him are ordinary. Well, they're not.
"Funny how every asshole has the same repertoire," Simone chuckles. "Are you guys rehearsing it or something or is it just natural for you to sound like idiots?"
"Anyway, I'm going to ask you two questions. We will punish you depending on your answers," Kalra announces, "And there's no use lying, just so you know. Veronica here can smell a lie from a mile away."
Veronica? Smell? That sounds strangely familiar. "Kaden, is Veronica a wolf?" I ask curiously, getting a short nod in response. Wow, I had no idea...
We get back to the video. The girls have now surrounded Dorian, who's been moved to sit on an uncomfortably-looking chair. "First question: did you take pleasure in tormenting Faye?"
"Fuck yeah, it's her fault she's weak," Dorian laughs wickedly, staring right at the camera. "She would cry like a fucking baby whenever I tripped her or called her a cripple. She's a weakling so I was simply showing her where she belongs in the food chain." I can't help but gasp at his hateful words while Kaden only wraps his arm around me and holds me close, kissing my head affectionately. I can't belive how much of an asshole Dorian really is. How can someone be so cruel? So cold-hearted? So... evil?
