The whole way home I think about what I'm going to do to the fuckers in the basement. Since I know Faye is safe with the girls, I can focus on punishing those who hurt her. I also have a few questions for them regarding the 'auction' they mentioned.
I did not fucking like it.
It's suspicious that Fred had contact with people who were involved in trafficking - at least that's what I think it's about.
"You're back already? That's surprising," dad comments as I pass by the living room.
"Faye wanted to spend some time with the girls and I'm banned from joining," I shrug. My parents aren't even surprised to hear it, since it's a usual occurrence with the Warriors. "So I decided to pay our prisoners a visit."
"Ooh, punishment time," mom smirks. "I hope you don't mind us joining you. I have some things I want to ask them."
"You're welcome to play with them, mom, I don't mind."
"Great," mom smiles happily then takes sleeping Amantha from dad and takes her upstairs while dad follows me downstairs.
When we reach the lowest level of our basement, which is more like a medieval dungeon per mom's request, we're met by a foul stench of human waste. Fuckers shat themselves, it seems.
"You have no idea who you're messing with, idiots," the so-called boss of the group snarls at us as soon as he notices us. "You think you'll get away with this?"
"Jesus fucking Christ, how is it that all scumbags have the same repertoire? It's so boring," dad groans dramatically. I understand his frustration, though. He's heard such words so many times he's genuinely fed up with it.
"True. Even Dorian said the same thing," I chuckle. It's almost as if there's some handbook for assholes and they've read the first chapter 'what to say when you're caught and you want to sound like an idiot'.
"I swear to god, I should've cut their tongues off when I had the chance," dad sighs. "If only your mother didn't want to interrogate them..."
"You know that even if you'd done that, it wouldn't have stopped me. I could've simply healed them again," mom laughs as she enters the basement.
"That's exactly why I didn't do it, my love," dad immediately pulls mom in his arms, holding her tightly against his side. "I don't want you to touch them."
"So that's what it's about..." mom smirks knowingly. "I love it when you're jealous."
"I'm still here, you know, so please refrain from doing something indecent," I tell them before they can get carried away. I know exactly what I'd witness if I didn't stop them now. Had dad not gotten vasectomy after Amantha was born, I'd have another sibling.
"You're talking like you've never caught us," dad scoffs.
"It's because I have caught you that I'm saying this. At least pretend to have some decency, will you?"
"Fine, fine, fine. We'll leave the fun for when we're in our room," mom sighs deeply.
"TMI, mom. I didn't need to know that."
"Now, let's get back to these pieces of shit," mom turns to the cell where the scumbags are chained to the walls. "From what I heard, you've mentioned an auction when you came for Faye. What auction were you talking about?"
"Like fuck will I tell you anything," the boss sneers. Wrong move.
"My love, will you?" mom turns to dad, gesturing at the asshole with her hand.
