Prologue

Y/N Pov

I can see it all, my life was flashing before my eyes. 

How did I get here? I don't know

What happened? Where am I? What am I doing? Was this my punishment for not giving my last malasada to Hau?

I'll try to recall what happened earlier.

I was the current Kalos champion. Along side my partner, Lucario, I was visiting my birth region, the Alola region. 

That was the place where I was born and started my journey. After failing to become the champion, I moved my goal to Kalos. 

Everything was different.

There wasn't any island trials and kahuna's like Alola, but pokemon gym's. Malasada's? Pokepuffs. Kahuna's? Gym leaders. Z-moves? Mega stones. Everything was new to me, I couldn't wait to start my journey. I left all my old pokemon besides Lucario and Sylveon with Professor Kukui as I wanted a fresh start in this new region. I decided against it to leave both of them behind as they've been with me my entire life so leaving them would result in a heartbreak.

The orphanage found me behind a few thrash cans along side an egg so they raised us together. The egg hatched and it turned out to be a Riolu so since I was raised along side it, they thought it would be a great partner for me. 

I found Eevee not long after in a bush when I was 5 but thats another story.

It was a pain leaving all my friends but my dreams of becoming stronger stands. 

I arrived via boat from Coumarine city and from there I started my trek to Lumiouse city. Why Lumiouse city you may ask? Well thats beause the Pokemon Professor, Professor Sycamore, lives. (I know you get your starter in Aquacorde Town in the games but thats bc Shauna, Tierno and Trevor brought them there from the professor's lab.) 

I picked Froakie as my starter since I chose Rowlet in Alola and I haven't used a water type. From there my journey began as my team grew stronger and stronger. I even learned that Lucario could mega evolve!

Funny how that was 8 years ago. Now I was visiting my home, Alola.

Lillie finally arrived back from Kanto, Sun and Hau was excited to see and battle me, Moon was going to make me spit out every single detail of my journey for her new book and Gladion was.....still in his emo phase. That french fry haired boy can't stop being emo can't he?

After the very tight hugs and greetings, we went to a malasada shop to catch up on life. After that, we decided to take a stroll out in Verdant cavern to visit Ilima and the totem pokemon, Gumshoos. 

That was when everything went downhill.

An ultra wormhole appeared inside the cavern and Xurkitree emerged, its wires waving everywhere. 

The totem pokemon being the strongest one in there, fell. Leaving the poor yungoose's and and other pokemon to fend for themselves. Naturally, Me, Sun, Hau, Ilima and Gladion were left to battle it as Moon and Lillie went to get help (Why get help when I was the one who f*cking defeated Ultra necrozma). 

I sent out Heliolisk as it resists electric type attacks and can hit back with Hyper voice (I went with Heliolisk instead of Tyrantrum for something you'll see in the next chapter). Gladion sent out Silvally and Ilima sent out Kangaskhan (from the anime). Hau and Sun sent out their starters (you pick).

The battle was going great for a while as Silvally was specifically made to defeat Ultra beasts. But then, the unexpected happened. Xurkitree was retreating until it suddenly grabbed me, bringing me along with it to the Ultra wormhole. Gladion, being the overprotective friend he is, ordered his Silvally to use Multi-attack in panic. While it did work as Xurkitree dropped me, but I dropped right into the Ultra wormhole (How? Idk just go with the story). 

The last thing I saw was Heliolisk jumping into the wormhole with me while Gladion was not far behind it but failing to jump in. After that, I blacked out.

I remembered what happened. 

Is this death? Why did Heliolisk jump in with me? Whats going to happen to my pokemon?
