As the bard played a tune on his lyre, the border between Wolvendom and Stormterror's Lair was shattered.

"It actually opened! You're not entirely useless Tone-Deaf Bard!" Paimon cried.

"Paimon, language!" you said.

"This is it," Jean said, "we're now entering Stormterror's Lair. Watch yourselves, there hasn't been a single human presence in here for ages. Who knows what monsters are locted here"

As your small group walked deeper into undiscovered territory, you heard something moving. Specifically the movement of mechanical joints. Apparently you weren't the only one who heard it as Lumine instinctively pulled you closer while Paimon hid behind her.

"Aw~ Is the little Paimon scared?~" Venti mocked.

"Wha- Hmph, Paimon wasn't scared! Paimon was just..uh.....looking out for the monsters that could come up behind us, yeah."

"Alright, that's enough both of you." Diluc sighed, "can't you see the obvious Ruin Guard roaming around down there?"

Sure enough, a huge mechanical robot was roaming underneath the bridge you were on. One look and you knew a hit from that and you were dead.

You were too busy staring at the robot to even hear what Paimon said, that robot just looked familiar, but you've never been in this world before, so why was it so familiar to you? You were snapped out of your train of thoughts when Jean placed a hand on your shoulder.

"Are you feeling alright?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a minor headache, all good now."

She didn't look convinced but let it slide. You all continued down the bridge towards an archway. Walking closer to it, it became clear that you'd have to find another way to the top of the tower. There were huge chunks and debris of the old tower blocking the way up.

As if luck was on your side today, there was another way up the tower. However, that way proved difficult as multiple hilichurls and the occasional mitachurl were present on the path.

But hey, at least you have four knights in shining armor to protect you. If you were able to use your pokemon, you'd bet that they'd be kicking those hilichurl butts, but to conceal your secret to one person, it would be best to not to show them your babies.

The climb up the tower was tiring indeed. While your friends sat down for a quick break, you climbed up one of the fallen pillars to see what was up there, when you noticed something on the level above you.

"Hey guys," you yelled  out to your comarades, "I think there's something up here!"

"What is it?" Paimon cried.

"I don't know, I can't see it well from here."

"Allow me to have a look." Diluc offered as you climbed down. Diluc climbed up the fallen pillar and inspected the level above. It had been a while before he came down.

"So, whats up there?" Paimon asked.

"It appears to be a Ruin Guard. However, it seems to be too damaged to even move an inch. It's system has completly shut down so I doubt it'll be affecting our way up." he explained.

"Well then, we've had a long enough break. Let's get moving. The faster we clear this mess, the better it is for Mondstadt." Jean said.

The rest of the climb was rough but short. We safely made it up the tower thanks to the fallen ruins and Venti's wind currents.

"Y'know, I'm thinking of turning these adventures into songs after we're done." Venti giggled.
